    Mortgage day :j.

Total owed is now £88,848.66. Approximately :rotfl:. So, 90's gone and skipped over 89k :T. Should be done to 85 something next month :D.

Spurred on by Alex who mentioned it, I've had a few goes of the RichDadPoorDad cashflow game (I can only get it to work in Chrome). No, I didn't bankrupt myself Alex :rotfl:. Quite entertaining but some poor choices made by your character which you can't control. In the last game I played I was a secretary on less than 3k a month but blew 18k on a speedboat . Silly mare :naughty:. Took me ages to pay that off, and I missed opportunities in the meantime (ah....... now I see what it's getting at ;)). Funny that the one debt I don't bother about paying is the mortgage as that's usually too big to tackle as it needs to be paid in one go. Shame they don't allow TillyTidies :rotfl:. Worth having a go if you have 1/2 - 1 hour to spare.

Best start work - got a hot date later for lunch ;).

    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

May give that a go, gally. I could do with something to escape from my marking with. I have loads to do, but none of it is urgent so I get to pace myself and wind down a bit towards the end of term.
    Starting again 13/4/19
    Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99
    Total owed: £28,801.49

Think I'll abandon it - stupid janitor splashed out on a speedboat and big TV - I won but wanted to go bankrupt to teach him a lesson :rotfl:.

    Opened a 123
    Opened TWO 5% tsb's
Opened an ISA (2 yr tied)

    Does this merit a spreadsheet?

    Debt-free and Proud!
gallygirl: I bankrupted myself through some unexpected bill(s) after over stretching myself investing in various property. :o Strangely enough, I do know that strategy (buying property one can barely afford) can actually work though I did not quite realise the risk.
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500
