Oooohhh just spotted landmark on spreadsheets (if you have enough spreadsheets with everything possible recorded you have these quite regularly :rotfl:).

My medium term aim is to have all mortgages paid off by the time I'm 55. Today that is 2000 days away, so tomorrow it will be in to the one thousands till I have paid it all off .........

Also spotted that last Sat I crossed over the 3k mark for interest paid since the start of the MFiT2 challenge

how do you work the days left on excel? I too have everything on loads of worksheets on excel, I love my figures lol

This is based on me paying off by a certain date so I just count back from then.

I suppose I could do a calc so that I could count the number of days till any estimated pay off day :think:

Right, contingency plan in operation. Strike starts 20th. Due to fly out 21st. If there is a strike the flight won't be cancelled till v late by which time there will be few flights going out later and they will be expensive. And I will have a shorter holiday. So, one way flights booked for day before the strike as they were cheap. Only £80 for the 2 of us, I've gone ahead & booked as they were on discount till midnight. If the strike goes ahead we get a refund from others. If strike is cancelled we lose the cost of these flights, which is a small price to pay (we'd sooner go later if possible as we're tight on leave).

Now to have a look at car hire & car parking - not usually that organised but have already done. Am sure will be able to change. Slight issue in that we fly into a different airport but we had to do that in Sept with the last lot of strikes :mad: and they were fine. If any problems I'll book 2 days hire then pick up original car!

Seriously annoyed. The Universe is obviously telling me I shouldn't to to Spain on holiday any more . I had best oblige so will get a wiggle on and move out there permanently asap .

My work colleague is looking to go somewhere like Tenerife in June and so we were looking at work today and it really got me in the mood to look for us but I am going to have willpower and resist and just have our little caravan holiday this year and make the most of it (I hope)

What a pain with these daft strikes!
