Evening all. End of a nice weekend :D. Gig last nice was v good & curry was gorgeous. 4 of us all had something different & all loved it. New place to go back to when we are in that area again :j.

27  items listed on ebay today and a few things have hit the recycling so place a little tidier. So tidy I have lost my supply of birthday cards so need to buy one for my niece tomorrow :o.

Mortgage back over 18k :( but hopefuly temporarily as some rent arrears due & OH has promised to pay in some money :T.

Still haven't received any quotes for work on roof. What is it with workmen . Will be reminding them all tomorrow.

Have a good week all :)

    Evening all

Haven't been about much as v busy at work, so have read whats gone on elsewhere but not been on here. So, update time:
    - mortgage #1 currently on 17308 :)
    - 18 items sold on ebay for just under £50 :)
    - found my stash of birthday cards :)
    - didn't actually spend any cash at all at the weekend, got a few bits n pieces from supermarket but Mr GG paid :)

So, all good on the MFW front :T. Shame about:
    - height increase thingies I've ordered for the wiifit :o
    - big zipped plasticy checked shopping bag type thingy, size of a suitcase, ordered off ebay. In my defence, it's to take out to Spain with a load of stuff I need to take out, but I'll only need to pay baggage one way, it will fold up in hand luggage to come back. So, that's all right then :o
    - spent about the same on clothes on ebay as I raised from selling things. In my defence it's needed as my summer clothes don't fit me. As summer is nearly here :o
    - agreed to go to see bessie mate in Cornwall, around £80 for cheapest combination of train tickets :o
    - picked out what I'd like to see in Olympics. Difficult knowing how many to register for as you may get none. If I get 3 that will be £150 :o
    - repairs to btl roof will be around 2k :o
- em, been looking for hotels in NY & Las Vegas for planned trip in October with Mr GG's mate & friends, surprise 50th birthday trip. So, with flights that'll be the best part of 3k. Without spending money_pale_ :o

Ahem, glad to be back to work tomorrow :rotfl:

I kept thinking Streisand but I knew it wasn't her. If I sounded like her I wouldn't be here!

well done on becoming size 12 and being able to sit in those jeans :D I remember having this pair of beige jeans (yeah I know - beige :o) that were a small size 10 but i loved them soo much and when they were washed they were so hard to get on and I would lie flat on the bed to do them up but just could not breathe! And eating something wearing them, I'd get home and release the button lol

Have you any simple soup recipes for a bland palate? Me and kids dont like spicy but I really want to get into making some broth like soups like the heinz winter veg (obv will never taste like that but would like to have a go) I am a rubbish cook really.
