Babyb Freecycle is the answer - put a request on there, I'm sure someone has one in a cupboard somewhere!

Painting done - nearly! Just another coat inside the built-in wardrobe (which I hadn't planned on doing) then 2 doors :A. Thanks for nagging me :)

    Quick update:
    - painting finished, bedroom back together & nice & clean & tidy :)
    - won another tiny prize, am sure I'm building up to a biggy :)
    - mortgage update - own BTL. Paid around £180 extra in last few days - spare rent money, CTax and quidco. Knocked another month off, over 2 years knocked off since start date :)
    - mortgage update - No. 1. Balance on 1st Feb was£18,997 and a few hundred paid off today so will stay under 19k :j
    - shame about the repair bill for the roof that will be coming my way :(
    - building up to an ebaying weekend - will list all low start items and get ready for next free weekend for rest :)

Hope all are well, off for a browse

HERE is the link to the forum, you can either just go for most recently posted ones, do a search on what you fancy winning or sort by end date & really go for it. Good luck :)

    Morning all .

Well another week done & dusted. A strange one - i was working locally for 3 days which was nice as I was home by 6 and it was lovely to have the extra time. That is the downside to my job, the lateness if I am in the office and if I am working from home although I have the best of intentions I'm usually still working at 7pm. Still, if I worked locally I'd be lucky to be on 1/3rd of the money so it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make - plus I do like my job (although have needed reminded a few times recently :rotfl:).

I was also in London, so popped in to Hobbs and Molton Brown for a few bits and pieces, as you do. Because [STRIKE]I'm worth it [/STRIKE]I had vouchers etc obviously :). So, £10 off a candle in Molton Brown which was still ridiculously expensive and not worth it - I'll stick to my Yankee ones I think. And £25 gift card from Red Mag for Hobbs, so lovely plain long sleeved top. And some stripey socks. Life is too short to wear boring socks :D. There were some lovely clothes in there. It was already on my list of places to visit when I get to target weight. Their dresses are lovely, but a lot have fairly high or scooped necks which don't suit me. With a big bust I need a V neck or I look like Mrs Doubtfire with a lovely comfy bosom :rotfl:.

I also got a pair of fit flops for -21p this week. Down to £31.50, changed £15 worth of Tesco vouchers, got on-line codes within the hour. Ordered with these, paid £1.50 and got £1.71 cash back from quidco :rotfl:. I'd actually tried a pair on last Sat but wasn't sure as I have a high instep, but figured that at -21p I'd risk it ;).

Ahem, paying the mortgage off......back to the point. It will be back above 18k today as I need to transfer money to Spain - account there getting v low, I had hoped it would be topped up by one or two deposits for holidays but no joy yet :(

Off to Mr T to spend £9 off £60 spend, then back to start ebaying as free listings I gather. Will only list those I want to start at more than 99p this week, no point wasting time listing 99p things when I can do them anytime. Unless I miraculously get through the +99p things quickly.

Off to a Comedy Festival gig tonight with friends, with a curry beforehand so that will be fun :)

Have a good day all :T

ETA - forgot to say have won a Bourjois lipgloss, not one I wear so that will go in the 99p pile when it arrives :)
