The per una top sneaked in quietly - what's it like?
I did manage to sneak it in quietly, didn't Igilligansyle wrote: »Glad you enjoyed your day. As you say, you're getting your life back.
I really am - I even slept well last night, was pottering and tidying before I got on the lappie, then my sister and I decided to go to Crawley and do stuff, so I never switched the lappie on at all, which felt very odd
I was looking for safe storage for client files - I've settled for an underbed storage box, with a lockable security strap, and for my current files there's a lockable file carrier I'm not using now I've put the stuff on my shelves (genealogy files, no reason for them not to be on the shelves). So I'm a happy bunny about that, and also had a mooch at Homebase and B&Q on sister's behalf
Now I'm home, I'm warm, got my delayed phone call to do, I want a nice long hot bath, and settle in to watch Top Gear in a couple of hours. I'd really like to spend some time tidying the office, but I somehow think that isn't going to happen :rotfl: can't do it all - but since I've done the bits that have been nice and social, I don't care :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
There's always tomorrow KC, don't do too much in one day
I've spent the day cuddling DD, playing games and completely avoiding tidying up (apart from putting the shocking number of empty wine bottles out for recycling......!!). There's always tomorrow.....or about 10 minutes before MrA next visits to make the place look respectable

Kittikins, how lovely! Thank her for me - its good to share love with the world :hello:
The nice Sunday continued - as usual, I didn't fancy having any alcohol when it came to it, so I had a nice cup of :coffee: :rotfl:
Slept well *again*, which feels a bit weird but *very* welcome, and I've already been fiddling about organising the office. Today, I have 2.5 hours paid work, tho very spread out. Lots of tiny admin contacts to make, which I'll do bit by bit, but the main thing is check out this month's budget, and see what it was like - I've never really done that, because optional spending was so low, I never needed to
I'm going to have some breakfast and mooch about on here, then do maybe 1.5 hours trading practice - can't do it for real, I haven't been practising enough.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning, lovely to hear you had a good weekend and a good sleep!

Morning Squizz!
I forgot to add, TAB Bingo have finally wised up and stopped people playing who don't deposit (within the last 100 days, which is fair enough really :rotfl:) I've had a very good run from them, in all their formats, so just feeling thankful to them really. And my only feeling now is, "thank god I don't have to log in there every day any more!" Time to finish, and go on to bigger and better things :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Did you get the new lappy working when plugged into the modem so at least you can get used to the buttons, new programs etc?
I've spoken to Staples about my lappy that broke last year and they have told me how to go about claiming under Sale of Goods Act so stage 1 getting letter saying what is broken and cost of repair is underway. Only problem I forsee is that they will give vouchers to spend in staples and they pretty much only do HP machines and I don't want another from a company that recalls the range in the USA because of lawsuits but refuses in Europe because we wont sue them . Can't wait to have a new one so I can sit comfy while working sometimes.
