And they're Finnish! I didn't know that, and it sounds great.

How are you this fine morning - well, not so fine, but okay.

Wow! A Moomins cookbook, me want me want :):) I think I have a copy of the storybook in Finnish, it appealed to me in a charity shop one day, not that I know a single word of Finnish, have some essentials of Swedish from our holiday there a couple of years ago - kiss, cuddle, wee wee, thank you and hello, what more do I need in life ;)

Hope the evil smiley worked KC. I like drawing them in and then blasting them with my Nice but firm you will give me good service attitude.

Forgot to add, the Moomins are happily thriving still in Finland at their own theme park :)

I know this was last night's convo, but I don't do Wednesday's very well, too busy.

I so relate to that! I don't feel any different - except maybe more balanced.

In my head, I am still in my late 20's and sometimes have to stop and think about how old I am.

Seems ridiculous, it really does. You're 46 now? So early 70s is your primary school years. Its definitely the beginning of my pub years - in the early/mid70s, I was a student, so of course I knew a lot of children's tv programmes very well :D:D:D

In the mid to late 70's I was a nanny and watching children's programmes was all I did all day. And there were only 3 channels!

G I think the only thing I'd be tempted to buy would be Belle and Sebastien,

That and White Horses had the most amazing theme tunes.

We didn't watch much telly at home, mainly Blue Peter, and stuff on at around 5, and they always had a children's thing on just before the news. So I remember things like the Clangers.

But I do remember when the trusty telly in a cabinet broke, and Dad went to get a new one, colour was in by then, so he decided to get one. But he wouldn't let them deliver it straight away. Why?? Because Princess Anne was getting married and he didn't want anyone thinking he'd got colour just to watch the wedding :D
