Thanks EH! I was waiting for my partner, so once I was finished, I could close my eyes for a bit. Also went to check out the little Sainsbo there, which is full of kosher stuff - it should really have much more Japanese stuff, but it doesn't. The kosher is interesting enough on its ownio, however, so that was good.gilligansyle wrote: »KC did you get the computer 'person' to look at your new lappie connection issue?

:o:o I haven't had time/made time. The shopping trip on Thursday took *lots* of time, and today I'm off to Horsham for my Egyptology - I won't get much time to window shop, either, sadly, I really need it to be a bit warmer to enjoy exploring a new town anyway. And I'm going by bus - there's a rail replacement bus anyway, and I can't bear that scramble when there's a peaceful alternative available to me. This is the first meeting I've been able to go to since I moved to HH! I'm going to have to leave the meeting a little before it ends, but thats no real hardship.
Hurray! I'm getting my life back :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I love exploring new towns too, but with you on the the climactic conditions having to be just right.
Have a lovely day

Have a good day KC - my OH grew up Horsham - one of his nieces still lives there! xxNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Thanks Lula - and nice one, Ellidee! The meeting was good - the woman in charge of a dig, and one of the volunteers, were speaking - they were great, very clear, very funny - the extremely academic ones send me to sleep *really* quickly

Home now, tired but happy

We have to do something about this! I had a trip to Wilko, to return voile and buy the voile with the right header tape (its stiff, but its lovely) plus some CD storage and rechargeable batteries. Superdrug for tabs for dishywishy2.... and a charity shop for a lovely summer per una top for £4. I tried to tidy up completely in the evening, but it didn't quite work out, and I'm in London today, so its all a bit frantic, as I'm also working here....
See you all later

The per una top sneaked in quietly - what's it like?0 -
