Thanks all - hope you got to cuddle your little starfish, Kittikins
thats so sweet
I'm feeling a bit galvanised this morning - there's an issue at the apartment block where I have my French apartment, other owners aren't paying their bills, and it sounds like there's a possibility that the tv service will be cut off  and the managing agents won't manage the place any more :eek::eek:
So I have to get my arsse in gear and get earning some serious wodges of money ... and while my budget says that I'll be more or less balancing incomings and outgoings this year, that beautiful dress from Hobbs has taken almost half my total clothes budget for the year - but yesterday, I got rid of four pairs of jeans - two to the charity shop, they're falling off me as I've lost weight from when I bought them - and two to the rag bin, they've literally fallen apart. I'm in desperate need of a wardrobe injection! Once again, more income.
So, off for brekkie after having done all my emails already, and then practising on the trading. I have one set of paid work today, and the computer bod is coming round tonight - computer bod means that the focus today is clearing the office and the working environment there, I have to step back a bit from mse today
I *will* get through! I'm still happy too

Woo hoo to feeling generally happy KC - that's the main thing that keeps striking me since my change of lifestyle too - I really am probably happier now than at any time in the last ten years!
Fingers crossed to the computer bod being able to sort you out...well, in a manner of speaking! :rotfl: Oh dear, can anyone else sense Z feeling "smut vibes" and heading in this direction?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Nothing at all
except that this one was holding a crying baby in his arms, we both had to shout to make ourselves heard
so sorry to stick boring old reality in there :rotfl: He's also postponed till tomorrow ...
I'm a bit tired today
I confess - and I don't think I've been drinking enough water, I'm scratchy-throated....
And I've done nothing whatsoever about the apartment .... I paid my whack of the bill before Christmas - I should look at some owners' forums, actually.
I *have* been working on half the porch curtain - finally got the tape sorted, and if I line it (I have the material, and I only need to use tacking stitch) its *exactly* the look I'm going for :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh dear KC, I do hope that you get the flat sorted out. Is there any way that you could pass it over to another management company. It sounds to me like the other owners may be struggling with things perhaps? The curtain sounds as if it is coming along nicely. More importantly you sound pleased with it.
Rubbish to laptop man postponing. Was the baby the factor for the postponement? Hope he wasnt planning to bring the baby along whilst working! Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Hiss to management companies and postponed computer bods. We changed our management company a few months ago seems OK so far but it is a quiet time of year for us so hard to judge and we won't have the opportunity to go out and judge for ourselves this year.
Hope all gets sorted.
Don't remember a link to the Hobbs dress do we get to see?
