:rotfl: even I can manage to avoid looking at articles on cat urine if I want to!

Settling down to my accounts, thats a different story. I've even emailed my sister the highlights of Martin's newsletter to avoid them :D

    Morning!

Light at the end of the tunnel! I still need to check some figures, do a *lot* of adding up, wait for the statements I requested, and figure out how to do a lot of inputting via what the accountant did with last years figures (which will be incredibly tedious, and will only happen with a *lot* of moaning from me :D) but the accounts are going forward.

And I got one of those free energy monitors yesterday, that Martin told us about the other week. Its still in its box, of course, I couldn't afford to start [STRIKE]playing with it[/STRIKE] using it now, it'd just be yet another avoidance tactic.

Got some paid work late morning :j to the late morning bit, then its do the accounts bits and bobs, and cut the grass, which is getting long again - I'm very lucky that I can do that sort of thing mdweek, and leave more time for me at the weekend.

You are doing a brilliant job with the accounts :j:T:j Not sure what package you are using but you should't need to add them up, can't it do it for you?

Let me know if you need a hand, happy to help if I can :D

Who would believe that we are still cutting grass in late November? Madness  I still have a tree that is almost still in full leaf and strawberries that have grown but not ripened.

Well I hope it continues, because another hard winter in the sequence like we've had would not be a good thing.

Thanks all! Maty, I may take you up on asking one or two specific questions. Right now, I'm still printing, I got a little distracted this morning and then had some paid work :o second coffee is on the go, and then I'll glue myself to the printer and shut everything else down ... promise  only way to do it!

Right, everything is printed, I can take that downstairs and add it up this evening in advert breaks :)

I'm declaring a truce on accounts after that! I have to wait for those two pieces of paper to come in anyway, and figure out what they want to put for my few little shares that I have (in England and, annoyingly, Spain - drat A&L for getting taken over by Santander!). I can do it because for two previous years, I have my own paperwork and the tax return that my accountant actually submitted, so I'll be able to see exactly how they handled the figures. Its these reinvestment schemes (which are good value) that are awkward, because money keeps getting carried over, aargh :rotfl:

Meanwhile, I'm off out while its still light!
