I'm back half an hour early because work finished half an hour early, honest :) Poor you, RT, hope you're feeling a bit better soon - tho I deffo admire all the domestic goddessness going on :) it was a real victory for me at the end of last week when I chucked an onion and some spices in with the soya beans I usually cook as raw material for other foods ....

Paperwork project is not going that well, tbh. I don't think I can bear to write at the computer any more right now. Can't sit in the garden, next door's is clearing up their act - thank goodness :) - but in the meantime its noisy out there. May have to resort to the bench on the other side of the playing fields :)

We had reasonable weather earlier, but now have half a gale blowing, so any time outside to be treasured.

I'm curious about soap nuts ... but with talk of naked statues, perhaps I shan't enquire :D.

Living in a watery village here, population approx 5640 & just 25 miles from London which is good & bad; means loads to do within easy travel & excellent transport links, but with prices to match :(.

On the other hand I'm just 60 miles & exactly one hour from my front door to Brighton seafront which is indeed excellent :j.

I'm holding off on indoor veg garden for now, think the cat may think it's for him & make good use .

Bought some lovely basics mushrooms the other day ... does anyone else buy stuff because they can see a fab future use for the container the stuff is in :rotfl:.

Autumn has arrived now but agree re sunshine being worth varying temperatures.

I haven't used them yet, I didn't want to do that during holiday, but the next wash, I'll use them and report :j

That *is* excellent :j didn't quite realise that. Amazing to live in such a tiny village - I'm very excited about living in "such a small place" thats five times bigger  I obviously have to work on stuff!

Yes! Can't say I've done it with basics mushrooms, but certainly biscuits :rotfl:
