Right ... what am I going to do today? And we had our first frost on the grass! This far south! I know .... the repotting, ta-da! There's a fair bit - and if I can figure out a way to get some of it into the ground instead, I may well do. I wonder if I'm being mad, tho, to do that at this stage? Hmmm... a trip to the greenfingered board is called for, I think.

It's gorgeous here too, I need to plant my onions sets but the ground is like rock here, so dry. I'm trying to avoid indoor chores today so might conjure up an leaf raking emergency

Enjoy your day & surely you can always keep things in pots indoors over winter ? ... I'm actually considering setting up my lovely willow salad planters indoors for the winter, just not sure how waterproof the liners are. Might sound a bit bonkers, but I quite like the idea of having an indoor veg plot

Indoor veg plot sounds great! But bringing pots in when they've been sitting out there for a year ... eep! Have you any idea of the number of wiggly things in my pots :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::cool: even honest to goodness worms!

Its *so* beautiful today, isn't it, yesterday was too .... my trip the greenfingered board has located someone in the northern counties who's divididing (huh? too many 'd's from me) tubers, and if she's doing that, she sounds like she knows what she's talking about so I'll go for it.

Sunny here too - is beautiful! I wish it was sunny all year round......I wouldn't mind the cold, as long as we had the sunshine!!

Has been eventful! Started the year with unexpected major surgery and since then have been in and out of doctors/hospitals. Am fine overall now - just niggling complications to try to resolve - and while investigating that they found something else that may need surgery - hopefully not urgently! OH has a new job - fantastic one - perfect for her but means we have had to move to the other end of the country - and we're currently still trying to sell our house (was sold but fell through when buyer's buyer withdrew ) . So rent + mortgage + expenses on two houses + still having debts makes things very tight. Add to that changes at work mean I am out of a job in June next year. I am able to work largely remotely until then which at least means we can have a life in the same place but I seriously need to work out a viable income from June.

So here I am.
