Oh my! Z, thanks for the pointers, I'll research - I'm on the other side of a big set of hills from where I used to be, and I just don't have a "feel" for the local weather yet ... no smut please! OTOH, smut away :)

RT - the minimum I've lived in has been a population of about, erm, 250,000 .... and that was freaky, because it had only *one* of each type of area, whereas with London, where I'd lived for ages (and even Liverpool) there's lots of different areas that do the same sort of thing. Except Chinatowns, only one in each city :) The fact that I live in a town with a Next and an M&S, Iceland, Sainsbo and all the rest, rests weirdly with the fact that I can *walk* to countryside in 20 minutes!

Miz - you poor thing! I hope you had lots of chocolates and grapes and things!

Gill - definitely a legend. Only legends dispense soapnuts :) and you and I have the "meet under a statue exceedingly bare" thing going on - as photographed by DT :D

Well, I have been as virtuous as a virtuous thing in the garden - got the sedum and lambs lugs planted in the ground, extended the border a little bit, did lots of weeding, re-potted the fennel and two of the comfrey plants and potted up the reduced rate coriander I bought yesterday for 35p :j thats *loads* for me, tho I'm now going to do absolutely nothing :D

Was a shock at the time but am fine now - was well looked after. Family rallied round as poor OH had to be away for work for a lot of the time. And it turned out to be very MSE - save ££ every month now! :rotfl:

And copies can be supplied for a small fee although I would prefer a large fee :money:

Thats *another* statue of a naked man, of course :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and I *really* didn't put my hand there, I promise :p

Miz - I'm glad you had lots of rallying going on. As you can tell from the parallel conversation I'm having, life on mse is as full of smut as ever :D

You can always run your own models. Just remember to tell us whether they're Tetley or Typhoo...

Perhaps it's just not statuesque enough...

If I had any contact with soapnuts, I'd be asking for antibiotics...

We have all those things too, and can also walk to countryside (in 10 minutes :p:D), and there's 500,000 people here! (we just live on the edge of them all, clearly :p)

It probably would have come as less of a surprise, then where she *did* put her hand...

Wow! I'm tres impressed - I did live on the edge of it all last time, but a 15minute walk over a 6 lane bypass is not what I'd describe as "being in the countryside" plus I had a 40 minute bus journey to get to the shops I'm describing - you've really got it made where you are!

    I'm a *nice* girl :D:D:D

Anyway, today, I have A Project. A paperwork project, plus getting ready for client work at 11 (oops, and what that actually means is mostly "do the cleaning"). So if I'm on here today before 3pm, tell me off. Please!

Hope everyone has a good day.

We all believe you too KC!!!;););)

Am home today - having finished my notice period & survived the last day! 8:30 and still in PJs - what a treat! To be fair it's because of the virus that's taken over my voicebox & is only just going away! A very MSE style day planned - 1st batch of banana bread in the breadmaker - a tajine will go in the slowcooker next - then laundry, ironing, making breadcrumbs, sorting and filing paperwork...

Well that's the plan anyway! OH went to work shocked - he does not remember domestic goddess being part of my job description.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)
(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)
    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)
Psst...I may have started a diary!
