And with a wave of my sonic screwdriver and a little spin in the Tardis I have rejuvenated.
I just heard that the Tardis landed in the Senedd at Cardiff Bay today! Strange that
Hmmm pity I cant change my body
Oh, just realised that all my posts are different! Doh, why didn't I realise that would happen.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Hello Mrs Moo :hello:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Has it done what you wanted it to do, Mrs Moo?
How completely poetical that sounds2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Very witty!
Right, d/w done, w/m done, 8 articles scanned and thrown, stowed bedding that was in the airing cupboard .... I'm working at 1.30, so now I'm going to put the kettle onand prepare, maybe do, the planting, plus prepare for trip into town.
Ye gods, that means I'll actually shut the computer down :eek: Hope everyone is having a good (or at least okayday).

Weird to be on at this time with a report of the day, but there you go
Trip into town was done, I did the banking and booked a free appointment at the opticians, but didn't measure the velcro and forgot to buy the plastic storage box, oops. Saw the Dresden Files books in Waterstone's, they're only £2.99!!! but oh dear, they're **books**
Took me a while to get going again after i got back, but I did:
- 3 plants planted, took me *ages* - scabious, geranium, and a ground cover - that kind of fell to bits, but I think it may root anyway ...
- disinterred a couple of stepping stones from encroaching grass.
- more grass entombed in black bags
- tidied it up a bit, I mean to *keep* it looking good.
- did the watering, but my shoulder is killing me, its oatcakes and paracetemol for me right now2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning KC and all
so much going on in the tidying system that I lost track.
Glad you enjoyed your Mum's visit.
I used to have a system, when DS was small, that if it wasn't done by lunchtime on Saturday it didn't get done, as I refused to waste my precious weekends doing housework.
I sort of adopt pippi's 'never leave a room empty handed' but also have a very awful 70's style staircase on my pre-1900 terraced house, so anything that needs to go upstairs gets put on the stairs and the idea is that when you go up you take some of it.
*** please note the use of the phrase "the idea is" in the above sentence*****:D
...other systems etc. are available.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

:hello::hello::hello:
The tidying system :rotfl: well, yes, I've kind of lost track too, tho I know there's a lot of half-done projects. Lets see (I didn't mean to do this, rats :rotfl:):
- GTD system to be fully established - that got lost in the haze of de-dusting and tidying for my mum
- annual accounts - the beginnings of the organisation are there, but I've done very little. Don't think I'll try to do them myself either, I'll just prepare them for submission to the accountant as usual. By 1st November :eek:
- rearranging the kitchen surfaces - everything is on the table at the moment, nothing on the worktops, its a question of efficiency and where the plugs are
- carry on with woodfiller, wherever I see its needed.
- phoning the builder to do some stuff, prompted by the mould in the bathroom, but other things too :cool:
- work on the border underneath the kitchen window - rescue stones, dig up as much earth as I can, lay membrane, pile stones over. Do not allow anything to grow there!
- flower border on the opposite side of the patio - weed and plant, this is what I was doing yesterday
- half of the right hand side border - for my benefit only, thats from the potentilla to the jasmine - weed, widen, plant
And now .... I'm off to Egyptology, where the talk is about the geophysical survey that was shown on a documentary recently :j plus a few errands beforehand.
Hope everyone has a good day :beer:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Is that the one done by satellite imaging? Where they found some more temples. It was fascinating.But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
you're going great guns on the housework/garden plan and glad to see there are a few of us trying to get organised..that way I don't feel too bad.
hope egyptology was good x0
