    Thanks for posting. Pah to computers. KC what a fab weekend for floating around in lovely dresses and fascinators whilst speaking polish. I hope you enjoy it.

  • Gilligan - if you speak to KC can you pass her a message about her computer. The last windows auto update affected her wifi etc, I've now heard that the update when it reloads is affecting machines again, some to the point where they won't turn on.

    Tell her to ring Samsung again initially before she pays that really expensive bloke.

    Thanks Me x

    Hi Me

    that sounds like a good reason not to do the automatic updates to me.

    I've tried to ring her mobile and it has no voicemail on it, and am not sure if the home number I've got is her current one or the old one, so didn't want to leave a message just in case. Hopefully she'll be back online soon.

    KC will hopefully get her computer back tomorrow as they tried to deliver it today but she missed them. The windows issue probably explains why it was so quick to be fixed as she said it loaded lots of updates the day before it died.

    As soon as she can she will update on the wedding, but it seems a fab time was had.

    KK thanks for the PM, the phone number was the right one :T

    :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:

    I'm back! And guess what .... it was the adaptor that was faulty, not the computer at all :eek: So I've been updating stopzilla and avg, trying to coordinate what on earth I've been fiddling about with on the online lappie and the non-online one .... dear me, these things take a lot of time! And I'm doing it while I've been watching the national wedding, you know the one :) Erm, that kind of gives away the fact that I bought another tv licence :D

    The wedding I went to last week, over Easter, was **fantastic** - they wanted really informal, and it was, if I wanted any photos posed I had to get them to pose myself :D I'll put some up online later. The bride could easily have been a model, not a dentist _pale_ :rotfl: and my dress got lots of compliments too :j

    Not got long online - Wol is arriving shortly, so we can go for a bluebell walk - I'm quite glad for the change of pace, it'll stop me getting square eyes. I've kind of got my act together with using my time better, mostly, thanks to not having the tv for a while, but I really need to keep that going. And make sure that the rest of the stuff I do brings in some bleeping money :cool: work is going well, actually, but not enough to put wodges of money into a pension pot. I will prevail (I'd say resistance is futile, but I don't want The Borg makeup :D)

    Off for a little canter around before Wol hopefully arrives...

    Hiya!!!!

    The Polish, by the way, went down well - I used it at the Registry Office to her mum, who's a midwife. Her dad, a carpenter, speaks **four** languages _pale_ and even tho English is his fourth language, and not good compared to the other three, he was able to have a complex conversation with my brother about how it felt to let go his precious only daughter/only child to another country.... very special family!

    bye for now - Wol's here!
