  • Loads going on here.

Made me laugh about the hoovering, I have a little handheld thingy that is used for biscuit crumbs etc. so that makes me very lazy about getting the hoover out, but when I do, I don't put much effort into it. If my sister hoovers, the carpet *really* knows its been done, and cowers in defeat for quite a while.

    Love it!

Coffee in the garden after paid work - what are you thinking, oh yes, thats what life is all about ;) :T

lol - don't worry we are still slovenly at heart - :rotfl:- nothing actually got picked up for the hoovering - just went round it!
    Phew!

and just googled facinator - have now done the transatlantic translation & equated it to 'headpiece'
Oh bother, I forgot to answer that bit, sorry :o
good for you attacking the ivy - sometimes plants just need a good hacking back!!!
Definitely, its awful - if I left it the way it is, in 3 months time, the path would be overgrown, and I couldn't use the garden at all.
I just liked the imagery in it- I must have been soft at some point. :)
    Awwwwwwww..........

My favourite poem of all time- would be Gray's, Elegy written in a Country Churchyard. I like to visit places, so i suppose that is why i enjoy these poems. I do have a few other favourites as well.

I expect you could also guess that i like, 'Frost at Midnight,' by Coleridge

Do you know, I've never read Coleridge .... must explore him ....

Not today tho ... I did do the chest for jewellery thingy, gave it its first coat anyway, and after the hacking about as well, I'm exhausted, really really tired, and wary of doing too much with the weekend thats coming up. Anyway, today, I'm off out - going to see my partner for a work meeting, plus the bank, the post office, collect my jacket from the dry cleaners, and if I can cope with it, going to the hospital for a blood test my consultant recommended.

Hope today goes well for everyone.

phew - i'm just tired reading your list! - how did you have time to be crafty on top of everything else? (going to hide head in shame :D)

(a little nag - health first - go get your bloodwork done!!!)

    today consists of:
    1. OH cooked a late breakfast, actually late brunch... oh bother, let's just say it was lunch!
    2. another load of laundry so it can dry in the sun
    3. a laze with the 'puter outside on the patio
(yesterday's list tired us out!!! - slovenly at heart - :rotfl:)

    yet paperwork calls...

& supposedly the hairdresser wants a skin test done before she dyes my hair tomorrow - been having it coloured for 12 years now - SIGH!

maybe just maybe a third cup of coffee would help with the motivation???

I missed a call from KC yesterday, but have a voicemail to the effect that her computer is broken. It will not switch on at all and she's had no time to get to a library to post from there. She is off to the wedding today, hopefully her computer will be fixed by the time she gets back.
