  • Why didnt they just put that on the card .

Good to have some paid work, even if you have a million and one other things to do. Maybe you need to try and finish one compaint or bit of the complaint at a time. Any get that bloomin printer unpacked, will save you messing around between laptops :p.

Sorry I couldn't get the other one sorted for you, I guess Dell hope that you will by a new one from them each time you upgrade to the newer machines where other manufacturers provide new downloads :(. I will avoid Dell knowing this.

I have work to do but I'm mooching around MSE while my hair colour does its thing - did you ever do yours?

They did :o:o:o but I couldn't read it. Even the PO man said it was written very badly.

Great minds! Thats exactly what I'm trying to do. Haven't tried hard enough on the printer, you're right :o:o:o

It was lovely that you tried :T:T:T This printer will cost a lot less to keep in printer cartridges - a bulk generic one costs £20 at the shop where I bought it, and even single cartridges (there are four) only cost a tenner straight from Epson - with Dell, to restock the printer ink completely cost about £55  I'll never use another one.

Nope :o actually, thats what I'll do now - I'll go do the allergy test, to give myself a break from the computer.

    Thank you!

Ah glad you have tracked down the fascinator.

Hope the hair dyeing goes well and everything else today.

  • I guess in the long run it will be better cost wise. I've found you can get XL versions of many makes of cartridges - they contact about 3x as much ink in the same size case, much more cost effective.

The best prices I've found as well have been on Amazon, usually 2/3rds the price from the manufacturer.

Hope the test is OK, my hair has been coloured for so many years I can't remember what colour I really am, other than knowing I have a lot of silver in my roots telling when I need to re-colour .

Test is done, along with other stuff - one thing I did this morning was use the email form on the kenwoodworld.com website, asking for the instructions for my new-to-me food processor. And I've just received the pdf document already!!!

    I'm quite chuffed :j

    We aim to please :D

I worked pretty hard yesterday morning on getting paperwork in its right place - its something thats had to take second place for ages, and I've been realising how toxic it is - very undermining. So I need to retrench a little bit and work on that today a bit more - its coming along nicely.

I've got the trading on at the minute - not only watching for my system trades, but also for the general patterns - not going to trade on them, and I must learn not to try to see something that isn't there. If it isn't satisfactory, then it isn't ....

With the website, I've been compiling a list of background stuff that needs to happen, and there's a lot:
    - domain - yes
    - hosting - weebly
    - blog - google, yes
    - garden blog - myfolia, yes
    - facebook - yes
    - Twitter
    - Flickr
    - Matrix, yes
    - Linked In,yes
    - photobucket, yes
    - logo?
    - copyright?
    - trademark?
    - business cards?
    - youtube, yes
    - a game (McDonalds parody!) yes
    - thehungersite
    - paypal, yes
    - amazon, easy to set up
    - newsfeed

As I think Shaun is finding, setting up the publicity is as important as providing what you're .... um, providing :o :rotfl:

It strikes me that this is the last time I should post on here about this - in fact, that I should copy most of this post, and take it over the other side ....

Trial version of Word. It lasts 25 times - its lasted a bit longer because Windows 7 crashed and the count started again from the re-install. Turns out my version is a trial version, and the much-vaunted security / product code is useless - the full version must be purchased from microsoft.

Needless to say, I'm not going to - I'm going to back everything up, then find a way to un-install it, and install my old copy of Word 2000, which was perfectly fine.

Barstewards. My working class hero persona has suddenly resurrected itself, feeling v aggressive and determined to make sure they get as little from me as possible, while I get everything I can from them.

Oh how I miss Martin's original masthead "consumer revenge".....
