Thought you might like to see the buddleia too! :rotfl: I really like the worktops, but they're not quite as practical as I thought they'd beredsquirrel80 wrote: »Oh wow - fantastic! LOVE the outfit
Nice to see the famous buddleia too, and I think you've got the same kitchen worktops as us :rotfl:
(this translates to = I'm a !!!!!! at cleaning, and with these colour worktops, I can't see the dirt, so it accumulates rather :rotfl:)KC thought you would be interested in this

Ellidee, how interesting! I've heard of the dressings recently, but reversal of antibiotic resistance sounds really important - my partner is currently on a 3 month dose of *heavy* antibiotics, I must tell him about that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Love the outfit KC.
Have long been a fan of manuka honey, use it a lot and especially when ill. I have also used it a lot on my animals when they have cuts or wounds. I just spread it on the wound. I always thought that the licking off was what made them better though.Interesting re the superbug effects. My Mum ended up with CDiff when she was in hospital and it was not nice. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Manuka honey was the only thing that helped when I got an ulcerated insect bite on my leg
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Lovely outfit KC
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks for the outfit comments, folks! I've found the remote clicker on my camera (and I even have a tiny little tripod
) so if I manage to get round to a dress rehearsal, I'll give it a go
I forgot to say with manuka, I use it all the time now - I soak my oats in hot water for an hour or so, then have a dessertspoonful of manuka (with lots of healthy seeds, plus cornflakes). Its one of the things that I started to do again after I was so ill last winter...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Love the laptop bag, it will be so practical.
Dress is so stylish, I'd forgotten what it was like. Photo of fascinator?
Agree re: the worktops, mine are black marble effect and I often 'clean' them, and then realise I've missed bits because I can't see the muck!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

The postman had put it by the back door (which worried me, as its behind a locked garden door ) and I hadn't found it at that stage. I'll do it later today if I can.

What am I doing today? The outstanding complaints work I have is piling up again. Some French bills need to be paid. I've got the food processor, and now need to find an instruction leaflet so I can figure out how to use it. The printer still hasn't been unpacked. Yesterday, I popped into Sainsbo after the fruitless trip to the PO to find the fascinator that was actually sitting on my back step, and bought the lightpull I've been looking for for ages - I love the shape of it, v classic, I bought it out of my monthly spends, tho heaven only knows what they are, so that needs to be attached, and I bet thats one of those jobs that takes much longer than you'd think.
Plus I have 3 hours paid work. Quite a bit to be getting on with.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
