Dear me, you don't like peppers? Everything I cook contains peppers apart from beans on toast! :)

This is a good basic tom sauce which can be used for pasta and as a base for spag bol, con carne ect http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/6995/tomato-and-basil-sauce You can bascially add anything you fancy like to bulk it out and DH loves it with bacon (i rarely have any basil :o)

Have you had pasta with a phili sauce? Would you want a quiche recipe? Oh, my tummy's rumbling now
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
    Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway
  • Finally done the 1st of the months maths (only a week late:eek:)

Total outstanding mortgage which as always is mortgage minus any savings = £12,899.34:j. This will go up a bit next month as we have the fencing to pay for:eek:

Have finally got around to opening this years ISAs, went with Sandander in the end as the rate is variable and will follow the base rate, they pay 2.8% above base for 1 year, so currently 3.3% which significantly higher than the 1.09% we currently pay on the mortgage.

    Hope everyones ok.

PS those pesky crocs are still in the garden:eek:

  • The money making is picking up, I managed two mystery shops today before going to work for the afternoon.

Then I had a GallyGirl moment (no I didn't quite buy a house!) but I spent almost what I earned on one MS on a top from TKMax, it wasn't my fault governor........I had to wait 45 minutes before I could return an item on the MS and TKMax was next door, so I had to go in there :o

I have two more Tuesday evening shifts before that job is gone forever:(. Oh poop, thats a significant chunk of money gone per month (about £180 after stoppages:eek:)

    How frivolous :rotfl:

How come you're tired, and how are the crocodiles :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I really hope you didn't get the trainee doctor like I did. Oh crap it hurt, a lot. Taking it out was no problem (although it took her ages) but putting the new one in stung like a ginormous wasp:eek::eek:, particularly towards the end. Oh well, hopefully that is it for another three years.

Told hubby it was a 'major operation' and I need lots of TLC.

Lol my docs have 'lost our contract to provide sexual health services' so I had to go to a specalist centre 15 miles away. I was told not to pee before I go for the appointment which I thought was odd. I got in, she fired some really wierd questions at me (including asking if I was a sex worker - damn me for wearing high heels!) then asked me to lay down so she could do my vaginal swab!!!! Turns out they'd booked me in for a STD check! So then I got a bit of a stroppy doctor who clearly wasn't expecting to do an implant this morning, but it was a lot better than last time although I won't stop bleeding, she's put a little bandage on me and a pad, but it's bled through that :S
