Oops I've been neglecting my diary again :o

So, potted history of my weekend:

On Friday after work I went to the movies with my friend and saw Fair Game, which was fabulous and well worth a watch. Yesterday we did the rounds of the supermarkets (Coscto, Morrisons and Tesco) which meant that by the time I got in it was time for a bacon sandwich for dinner and a lot of rubbish telly.

Today I have mostly loafed around the place, although I did make a couple of new cards. I won't be blogging them until tomorrow though so I can take pictures in better light.

Money is going ok, I think. I have a few things to update on the Spreadsheet of Wonder, but I seem to be on budget at the moment. I am now wildly over budget on groceries after Costco, but this should even out next month hopefully. Thanks to a bout of batch cooking this afternoon we'll be eating bolognaise for a few days anyway :rotfl:

    Quick money post:

    PAD/Spends - £111.72
    Entertainment - £53.28
    Groceries - £89.62
    ISA - £1239

All in all things are pretty healthy. I've b*ggered the budget by going to Costco, but should have enough food for a LONG TIME now :D I hope it will all even out by the next time I get paid!

    Happy Mondays to all ;)

Things generally looking good there then! good news on the Npower payments - I have to admit, considering it has been a cold winter, I am more than happy with my bills over the last couple of quarters.....I just hope that they haven't got it completely wrong, with me having moved house etc, and that there isn't a shocker of a "catch up" bill to follow in the summer!!

    Have a good week x

    Morning :D

Well yesterday didn't get off to the best start as the alarm accidentally went off at 5am  I then got all the way to work before I realised that I had left my lunch at home. Work was also a whole pile of poop so bah to Monday!

    On the plus side:

    • I arrived home to my new Radley :D
    • My first Swagbucks voucher in ages came through (£5 Amazon) and I'm a quarter of the way to the next one already. They have some dull data entry tasks paying quite well at the moment so I'm doing them on Saturday mornings when I have nothing better to do ;)
I've been up since half five this morning when one of the cats decided he was hungry. Bah again! He didn't get fed until the usual time though - I'm not pandering to him. Nothing much else to report really - off to get ready for work now...if I'm up this early I can try and get to work for eight and make an hours overtime :D

    Evening folks,

I've been frittering away pennies left right and centre over the last couple of weeks and have been avoiding updating the Spreadsheet of Wonder, which is never a good sign.

I'm going to do it tomorrow (don't let me make excuses. You know I'm online all the time, if the green light's on after seven tomorrow and I've not posted my end of quarter budget, nag me!) so will see how things are then.

Today hasn't been totally frugal, although I did go and see my 12th movie since the end of January. That is £94.80 of value - I love my cinema pass!

My laptop is running out of battery so I had better sign off. Have a good night all.

    Pennies!

    PAD/Spends - £118
Entertainment - £53.29 (Looking forward to spending this with Souk on the 10th!)
Groceries - £89.63 (Less actually as I have to do some sums from the weekend)
    ISA is now over £1200
    VSP - £321.47

I'm due interest on my VSP today as it pays out quarterly providing you don't make any withdrawals, which is a good incentive to save. I've been doing quite a bit of overtime at work recently as I don't know how long it will be offered for. I'm hoping to be in an hour early today as well.

No sign of Mr F's sister moving out, but she has a new boyfriend and spends a lot of time with him just now, so we're getting all of the rent but without seeing her often, which is working for me :D Her rent money this month is getting hidden in the ISA until we go North at the end of the month, when I suspect most of it will go on diesel costs

Have a good day all - Friday tomorrow, woo!
