Hi all, another £1 today to Barclaycard.

Was brave and did Shred again when I got home from work - wasn't aching this morning but aching now.

    Hi everyone,
Took the cat in to be spayed this morning. Poor thing was terrified before i even got her out of basket had to really fight to get her out. lol must know whats happening.

Aww, hope your cat recovers okay. I remember taking my youngest cat to be neutered. (Have 3 cats and adopted the old ladies, so only had the youngest from a kitten). He was so tiny and had a wee sad look on his face when I left him. I felt so guilty! :rotfl:

In reality he had a lot of fuss after his operation as he's a sweet little thing and the vet nurses all wanted to take him home. :rotfl: So he quite enjoyed himself in the end and was just a bit sleepy when I brought him home.

My washing machine seems to have packed up  it fills with water but doesn't empty so I'm guessing that the crud from my DH's clothes has blocked it up somewhere along the tubes. Could be a wet kitchen later :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have you checked the filter? Ours wasn't draining, and wasn't really spinning either. The filter was full of rubbish, took it out and cleaned it and it's spinning away nicely now :)

    Hi everyone!

I'm in the middle of a flashback of being a student... :rotfl: Bloke is out tonight so I've just done myself one of those snack packs of couscous for my tea instead of any fancy cooking - I'm sat here now eating it out of the saucepan :rotfl: It's amazing, you get a handle to hold it with and everything :p

No pad for me today FF, sorry :( it's for a good reason though, Ive rounded down my accounts and emptied the change out of my purse last week and haven't spent anything (other than the car yesterday, obv) since then! So no change to give!

I'm actually really chuffed with myself because I gave myself £200 'spending money' at the start of Jan and I still have £187ish in my bank - very unusual! And I've got 50 odd quid coming in from TCB so if I carry on like this I might end the month in credit :rotfl:

I'm heading to the gym later - I used to go to the council one which is a bit further away from me, but this month they put the cost up from £22 to £26  which means that including petrol and 'time' it's better for me to pay £30 a month to go to a more local one. So I'm off to my induction tonight. It's quite good as they give you a monthly one to one with a personal trainer included in the cost, I had a general health check the other day and apparently my fitness, flexibility and lung efficiency is excellent :D but I have a ridiculously high body fat percentage... ooops! :o :rotfl:

Anyway this is a stupidly long post considering I haven't even made a pad!

Mary, I would go for it and just tell him how you feel - he made the first efforts by the sounds of it and is probably just feeling a tiny bit unsure of how to proceed, hence the shyness and awkwardness - just let him know!

Anyway, better go and get sorted, have a good eve!

    xx

Thanks Paul & k30lly for the washing machine advice... I have spent almost 2 hours tonight trying to sort it out. No, actually that's not strictly true. I spent 20 minutes sorting out / draining the machine and another hour and a half tidying up the mess Mr Diz makes

The waste pipe was a bit gunked up so thats cleared now & the filters clear yet still won't drain. Paul, I reckon you're spot on. Going to see how much a new pump thing is going to set me back.

Oh, and did you realise how much water a washing machine holds? Not much in the machine but bl00dy loads on the floor

Silaqui: sounds like you're having fun with tonight! Eating from the pan would save on washing up which is very MSE :D

Quick edit: £22.50 including VAT & delivery for a new washing machine pump delivered on Friday... just hope it works!

No PAD for me yesterday or today, totally brasic. Emptied my purse in asda last night getting some required groceries (and a few whoopsies:D) so nothing even for the change jar.

Will have to raid the gold jar tomorrow to pay for lunch at work (weekly visit to the chippy - a girl has to have something to look forward to), but I will get change from one £2 coin so not too bad.

OH gets paid on Friday so will be back on the PAD wagon by then.
