  • The screw was too near the edge so a new tyre (again ) at a cost of £124. Any downward trend on my CC has now been wiped out :(

That's a pity. As you know, on the edge isn't safely repairable.
    What a pain.

  • Persuaded OH to change his daily paper from one that costs a £1.00 to a 20p one :). So today's PAD is £1.36 to OH's cc made up of the 80p and left over change from yesterday.

Well done retired! Very MSE :T

Query - I am about to make a payment to my summer holiday. Some of it in cash and the remainder to my cc before the weekend. (Hoping to clear this from cc next month). Should I include my cash payment as a PAD or is it not relevant to this thread?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Feeling a bit down in the dumps because I've paid £426.12 on my credit card for car insurance. So all my hard work in PADding an extra £500 over this last month has been undone.
Methinks you misspoke here. You meant to say:

Thanks to all my hard work PADding, I've been able to pay my car insurance in one go and pay £73.88 off my debt too.

Hope you don't mind me correcting you :D
