    Morning folks :D

    Yesterdays PAD was
£2169.82 :j You can tell it was the last Friday of the month :rotfl:

Before anyone asks, yes it's early but the trouble with being MSE and keeping the heating off is that sometimes you get into bed to play Xbox to keep warm. This is fine unless you have had one (or two) cocktails in which case it leads to you falling asleep at half nine and waking up bright as a button at five in the sodding morning....4869.gif

Random question but is there any way to hide or get rid of scorch marks on carpet?!! (without just sticking a box over it! :) ) I'm staying at my friends while she is away, and the plate fell out of my straighteners yesterday and have left a mark on the carpet... she is going to kill me!!

I have lots of marks on my carpet (from smoking etc) and this is the best homemade carpet cleaner I know...keep an eye on it else it'll stick everything to the carpet and it may need a few goes but it works

    http://www.savvyhomemade.com/homemade-carpet-cleaner1.html

Use the spot cleaner (scroll down and you'll find it)..it really does work...stains I've had in my carpet for years it got rid of/significantly improved...

Sorry I wasn't on here sooner to reply to this crisis but hope the above helps someone...

If worse comes to worse try bartering for a big scrap piece of carpet and glue it down with strong DS......I did that the other week to give new life to my carpet :T...I got a large rug sized piece for £10 and I don't know if they've still got them in but they did have runners for the hall in Mr M for about £3 if I remember rightly.....
