We have my Gran staying with us at the minute as she is getting a new kitchen put in her house.

I went to the cinema on Tuesday to see Machine Gun Preacher - It was brilliant although a bit harrowing as it is based on a true story.

Managed to get out of it Beanie - lots off sick at work and really short staffed so my boss called the court this morning, she had to write a letter stating it was going to leave the nursery really short staffed and I was part of the management team. Gave it to the clerk of the court and she stamped my citation and said I could go!

  • Hi everyone,
What a week - 1st week back at work and it was mental!

Monday - Had to go to court, but got a letter from my boss and was allowed to go home :D A ridiculous amount of staff off sick at work just now so mega mega busy.

Tuesday - Had the teacher visit the nursery and my brain was frazzled by the time she left!
Have had a problem with my WW scales for weighing members - at our Area Meeting a few weeks ago myself and another leader both voiced our concerns at our scales weighing differently, our Area manager suggested we get together and see if we could swap scales around to get 2 matching pairs. Went to the other leaders house on Tuesday and we tried to sort out the scales however each of the 4 sets weighed differently and were all half a pound out from each other

Wednesday - Staff meeting PM about up coming events like Chirstmas market and show

Thursday - Was helping interview all day, we have a new Nursery Nurse starting in January and another hopefully starting January/February as maternity cover.

Friday - Was shattered, not a bad day at work and had a good natter with my mum at night as my dad was out.
I phoned the scales swap line on Thursday and I have 2 sets that weigh the same again now! :D

Saturday - Not done a great deal today, sorted out my WW stuff for next week including my meeting talk and props for my table display. Booked my hair appointment for my Christmas night out in 2 weeks time. And bought my brother, mum and dad's Christmas pressies.
Little Brother I have bought - JEFF DUNHAM DVD and am getting him THIS!
Mum I have bought FANCY WALKING STICK
Dad I have bought a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SUBSCRIPTION

WW tomorrow and then not a great deal!

Santa's elves arrive in the Nursery on Thursday and I can't wait to start the mischief and fun over the next few weeks! :D:D God I love Christmas best time of year to work in a Nursery :j

    Hi everyone
A busy end to the week for me, finishing with one of the kids being picked up 20 minutes after the nursery closing time on Friday night

Something I forgot to post a couple of weeks ago, I had my review with my WW area manager on the 16th November. She was happy with my progress and my figures within my meetings. When she asked how I was getting on I was truthful and said I was struggling (something I hate admitting but feel I am doing to much) with new responsibilities in my full time job and 3 WW meetings a week. She asked how many meetings would I want to give up and I said I would be happy just doing 2 meetings a week and dropping just the 1 meeting.
She then asked which meeting I would want to drop and I said the Monday meeting - at the minute I run a Sunday and Monday in the same venue (can leave things set up most weeks) and a Wednesday at another meeting, some may think the Wednesday would be the better meeting to drop as it would get my meetings over with at the beginning of the week BUT my Sunday was my 1st meeting and the Wednesday I have built up after it was closed for 6/7 weeks and I am the 8th leader in the meeting in a space of a year. I am the longest running leader in that meeting  and I like it.
So anyway - I got an email yesterday to say another leader is taking over the Monday meeting as of the 2nd Monday in January (9th) so my last Monday meeting is going to be 19th December - SO will be a New Year New Start.

Went to do my Grannie's shopping on Thursday night - She is a Morrisons lady and to go elsewhere is a crime! Our local Morrisons is in a shopping centre and I needed a few bits from Boots so went in and stopped by the Biotherm counter as it is the skincare I use and they had a Christmas boxset, I was needing a few bits but was going to put it off HOWEVER The Biotherm lady said the fatal words "We have 20% everything this evening" So £55.32 later I left Boots  Bought the boxset (£37 for £29.60) and a couple of other things I was needing.

Went Santa shopping for 11 boys gifts for work today, started in Asda and within 10 minutes had all 11 presents bought! :D
Myself and my friend from work then went to the Handmade Burger Co for lunch OMG! It was well good and 1 bowl of chips did the 2 of us and I was totally stuffed :D

Used the Nectar site to gain triple points on buying me slippers from ebay for Christmas (mum is refunding me) and triple points for Amazon on buying me a Christmas Present from me :D of the Harry Potter DVD set all 8 films for £20 :j

    Money Stuff

    Wednesday 30th December
    £0.91 - Diluting squash
    £2.00 - Work Collection
    Total - £2.91

    Thursday 1st December
