Ok so the last thing I put here I did...I was very organised. I have loads of online MS's to do at the minute though so I'm going to knuckle down and polish off a few of them tonight. Will do everything except the phone calls for most I think...then I'll try and sort the phone call bit tomorrow night when I have more time.
Bit of a rubbish thing at work. Year 9 are starting their GCSE's after half term in science...and it's the new GCSE spec. So with that and the launch of btec which we've never done before all the staff are either doing GCSE or BTEC...NOT both. However, I'm going to have to do a split class. One hour with my nice class who are doing GCSE, and then 2 hours with an awful class (I taught most of them last year) doing BTEC.
Bit gutted if I'm honest because now I'll have to look at new GCSE spec AND BTEC over half term. I have no idea what I'm doing for either. The other 2 lessons though my nice GCSE class will have supply. So I'm not happy about that either. It kinda means that the whole first module results will end up sitting on my shoulders as well.

new specs suck. We have a new GCSE course this year and I HATE it with a passion. it doesn't help that the exam board can't seem to tell their elbow from their 'arris  talk about the blind leading the blind!!!know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

What do you teach?
The discussions about exam boards reminded me that I got accepted to mark for EdExcel, although they aren't promising me any work. Apparently you only earn between £400 and £700 per session. I'm a bit gutted though because I earnt over 1K when I did SAT's marking.
I wish from a financial point of view they hadn't scrapped the SATs...they were a pain in the bum to mark though. Which exam board is the best payer I wonder? I assume A Level pays more than GCSE as well.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
