I meant to say when talking about the LG Sauces/Coffee........The Co-op Healthy Choice Indian Curry sauces, 450g size are 54p, normally £1.09. Again until the 18th. I'm not a lover of jar sauces, but may grab some next week as these are a great price, comnpared to making your own if you would use cream0

I've had a NSD today
Really good news for someone who is always frittering :rotfl:
Dinner is slow-cooked lamb chops with garlic and herbs, which smell amazing.
We've also had some good news - we got a large amount of money (a few thousand pounds *eek*) for Christmas from Mr Fresian's parents. I'm not counting any of it as mine until we speak about it, he's still in shock so hasn't thought what he wants to do with it. They told us that they were trying to even things out as his siblings have been supported for the last couple of years - both live away from home but have their rent paid - and he wanted to give us something. I am so grateful for their generosity.
I'm quite excited though as it might mean a holiday this year :j0 -

Hey erme, just wondering how you are getting on with your shampoo? How much does it work out at per wash?
Currently we are using a stock of cond from ast year I got vvv cheap in asda and shampoos are coming courtesy of our B00ts points ( the cheapest is 89p) Our boots points will run out soon and we only have one conditioner left in the store then we are out. I have vvvv dry and desperate for a cut and frizzy so conditioner helps. Not using cond isnt an option for me ( tried it, didnt work)
shampoo as in hair...half bicarb and half cornflour in a tub? whooshed over hair with hands then brushed through. Find I need to put it on every other day (more often than I would shampoo)...depends on where you get your bicarb from I guess? I get mine from an asian supermarket = £3.50 for 3kg which'll last about half a year cos I use it for EVERYTHING....
Head getting worse....getting very annoyed at the crisis line who are insisting when I ask them it's Sabbath when I know it's Saturday and tomorrow is monday 13th
Erme le fatwig (time to starve methinks...Just deteste le horrid voices kaj le spiders on ze wall)
No more meds for me now...stuff Dr. C he's delusional

You have my sympathies Minnie2, my dh just doesn't 'get it' with regards to saving! He doesn't have dealings with the paying of bills etc, so he just puts heating on when he wants, when i ask him to turn it off he says he has. Then I find it's still on, he says he forgot! to top it all he leaves the utility room door wide open (we have a cat flap in the door in there, without the flap bit, so howling gale!) so all heat flies out! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I could scream!!!(vegetarian & vegan family: me, DH, DS11 & DS 7, 3 dogs and 3 cats (not veggie )

mine used to turn the thermstat up on both the heating and the water tank
but as he didn't actually know how to over-ride the timers (I "forgot" to show him how when we moved in) it didn't actually do him much good
