Helloooooo!itsallinthemind
i baked your lemon cake today, that too was lovely, lighter than the other as you said.2/3 gone already and i only made it this afternoon.
( we have had a few vistors who all devoured it) Would love the pudding recipe when you get a spare moment.
They are different completely really. I will get it off her person at the weekend as I think she is not checking emails. Remind me if I forget!
NSD here, am knackered. Had a flood...bye bye stockpiled toilet rolls plus more. Nasty day frankly! Still off my food, sounds odd I know, but I can't hardly taste what I am eating and feel nauseas 24/7(no NOT preggers!). Annoying me now grrrr0 -
Nuala - I use a site called Food Focus which I find really good and I think it is British based (they have known brands in their lists). I have used Spark People, but went back to Food Focus as I found it easier to navigate etc (you can also log excercise - including housework!)
wornoutmumoftwo - thanks for that site, it's great!Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Is that so far over your target, WOMOT? I'm also quite a lot over, but a lot of my spends have been bargains which will pay off later (I hope) and some things just came as a lump at the start of the year, like a one-off gym fee. I believe Americans call this 'spaving' (spending in order to save) - does anyone here use that expression? I seem to do quite a lot of spaving.
BodyShop half-price body butters came through on Quidco. :j I love these as I get sore cracked hands and they make fabulous handcream.

Spent about a fiver today on food and charity shop goodies but went to the City Farm with my walking group; seeing the animals always makes me smile so that was free entertainment! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

I've never bought them from the net - i'm quite fussy and need to really try them on before hand if that makes sense. However, if you have an Asda optician near you they do a fantastic deal where it's £65 for complete glasses including the thinnest lenses. More info here. I had a look last time I was there and they had some nice frames. I'm really short sighted and an equivalent pair in vision express were £583 when I priced them up last week. http://www.asda-contactlenses.co.uk/opticians/glasses.html This is the site.
:T thanks chika. i never noticed there was an optiticans in Asda - just checked and there's one in my 'old' store, the one a bit further away, BUT they sell the brand that made the pair i Really liked, Jai Kudo, and also Fat Face (who before my even thriftyer days i could have said 'sponsored' me as i wore so much of their clothing, though mostly from sales!). so that's brilliant. thanks!
wow! that's one hell of a saving! :TRelax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -

No worries, trying to spread the word as it is cheap as chips. I really like the Jai Kudo frames too. The ones I wanted were £179 in Vision Express plus £350 for the lenses. I'm fairly short sighted (-8.5 in both eyes) and normal lenses look like milk bottle tops so I need to get them thinned. Shameless vanity! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -

My toilet man came yay:j!!! He thinks it's the loo paper not dissolving so no more cheapo loo rollHave instructed that minimal amounts of loo roll should be used (is that a step too far?) and IAITM eeeugh :eek:
dizzie _ I love the look of your book. I'm thinking of making things like that to sell on Folksy, that's about as far as my business plan has got, lol:D
23rd Spiral - I've got glasses online from Glasses Direct and they were fine, about £25.
