Caffiene can be extremely addictive, it plays havoc with our energy and blood sugar levels, however giving up can cause withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, mood swings and stomach cramps (not everyone gets all of these)
Its best to reduce your intake gradually to reduce the withdrawal symptoms, set yourself a goal and start having just half a cup each time and then reduce by a cup every few days. Hang in there, if you stick to it then the cravings will eventually disappear, especially if you keep your blood sugar levels even throughout the day.
    Good luck!
Ps drink plenty of water throughout to help with the detox effect.

thank you :A - that's pretty much what i have been doing but i wanted to check i was on the right track especially as i did try cutting down to fast and ended up with bad withdrawral symptoms - which just made me misrable and unhappy:(

Dont think its very secretive! it does cost a bit of money though!

The idea from what i remember is they get rid of the adrenalin etc

my friend hadnt walked for many years either so they had to work on changing her thoughts too, after they had sorted the ME so that she wasnt still in the mind set that she couldnt walk.

They also teach you process to do whenever you so wish if you ever start to feel tired again etc

Im sure my friend would be happy to email you about it!! She was bed ridden and in darkness for 10years industrial headphones to block out all sound window blacked out and a mask on, no light.just laid there and now shes at uni (10years later than planned) having a whale of a time.

    That sounds promising:)

I dont have ME myself - thank goodness. I was just reading the article out of general interest...

I can relate to the bit about "changing her thoughts" - as I've recently been reading about the idea that the way everyone perceives the World may not be the whole story of how it is and that if one decides to "view through different doors of perception" then maybe its "possible to do the impossible". Promptly decided - in a very different context - to use that as a basis to work on for something personal to me - but I simply wont tell a soul what I am "up to" as I know I will be pooh-poohed about it and told its impossible. Think it might just be starting to work though...:D

My mind is working overtime trying to work out your project Ceridwen. :) But I won't pry - and won't judge either if you ever share. I do know that my own world view has shifted massively in the past few years so it's made me a lot more open to things - even if they don't necessarily make sense to me at the time. Am watching a documentary on the nature of Reality right now - fascinating stuff.

Edit: That was a nice thing to do Aril - apparently today is the most miserable day of the year!
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

I vaguely registered there was going to be a tv programme on this and thought "Must do something about that".

Do come back and tell me if its any good - and a link to Iplayer or the like for it would be good please:). I'd like to see it.

I have certainly noticed a couple of things that have made me realise that theres more than meets the eye to things sometimes and the impossible IS sometimes possible - and it shook my worldview a bit in the process. Basically - I'm one huge pragmatist - but......

iaitm I have every faith in your recipes, the one I tried was yummy :) Oh can I ask...what was a hairy biker doing in your oven ;) x
l m hart had the 'incident' after following theirs. If I had a hairy biker I'd find an alternative use, not my type, but this is the year of 'Waste not-Want not' ;):D

Thank you for the tip, where can i get this from and what does it taste like?
Pretty much anywhere. Fish counters/Fresh Fish area normally have it, but it is super cheap frozen in all stores I know of. Mysupermarket should have it listed?

I think 'Youngs' now do it battered too? Generally they have frozen fillets and also frozen portions. The frozen portions are in blocks, like the cod in parsley sauce you get in bags to boil. I tend, whilst not great, to keep a few of these blocks in and use them as an emergency meal for the children, cooked in milk and water, then some instant parsley sauce granuals from Bisto, few new potaoes, peas, fine beans, broccoli. Very green meal :o They love it :)

The frozen fillets are great, along with makerel which is also currently cheap and sustainable, in fish pie.

It is part of the cod family, but it fell out of favour due to being an off white/grey colours. It is perhaps not as light too, so better used in dishes where there are other flavours. It is a few decades since I ate fish, thinking back there is a slight difference in taste, but more because you are aware. It has a meatier texture, but not as meaty as say rock, if you have tried that battered at a chip shop instead of cod? But it is not different enough to be thrown back into the sea IMO.
