I wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere in Vegas to fire guns and horseriding ( not at the same time ! ) I have read somewhere that some equestrian comapnies will collect you from the hotels for a days riding ? Any help is appreciated

Earlier in the year we stopped at the Orleans and at the Cosmopoloitan and I don't recall either reserving an amount on my card when we checked in. I have seen the subject of deposits mentioned many times on here and When we go next year I'm pretty sure I won't have a credit card anymore so I would like to book somewhere that it isn't required.

Can anyone offer suggestions on hotels where this is not required?

Have a look at this - it gives the cash amounts you will need to leave as deposit if you do not have a credit card.

    Hi

Can anyone advise on what the Rivieria, or the Imperial Hotel are like? Considering between the two, and the imperial is like £50 more but unsure if its worth it!

    thank you!

Riviera poor location, IP great location. IP rooms (Capri???) at the basic end are allegedly mank. Dunno about Riviera rooms.

    Hi
Has anyone got any details about likely weather for next week? I've checked the weather forecast which looks ok but some friends of friends who have just returned warned that it's a getting bit chilly at night. How chilly is chilly? Is it what we would consider chilly or is it just relative? Might have to add to packing . Also visiting Grand Canyon so is extra clothing advisable for there also?

    Cheers for any advice

we went to the Grand Canyon (south rim) about this time a few years ago and it was so, so cold even during the day...my FIL was wearing shorts when we left Vegas and while he had packed trousers, didn't think to change en-route...poor guy was freezing - pretty sure he ended up changing in a portaloo at one of the stops on the shuttle bus route at the GC...so absolutely yes if south rim, not sure about west rim. Of course weather can always be different than previous years, and it's all a bit relative to what people like. Not sure what you would consider chilly but if you have looked at the forecast it should give you some idea?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
