We have 4 nights at Wynn and 2 at Planet Hollywood. I don't think my bankroll could take a 10 day stay!!
LOL! We have two days out in the middle at the Grand Canyon - staying one night there - and seeing Hoover Dam. I don't think we'll go back to Vegas as we like to go somewhere different each holiday - so wanted to make sure we saw/did as much as poss.0 -
November / DecemberJust though I'd let you all know the exchange rate at Cosmopolitan casino cage was £1:$1.51 on Saturday when the bank rate was £1:$1.55. I thought that was OK, so I changed a few £'s. The cashier said that they like to keep the rate reasonable so as to give the tourists a good deal.0

We used to like going to different places on holiday until visiting Vegas.....we struggle to go anywhere else now! Been going once or twice a year now for the last 10yrs!
Ferf...glad you could make some use of the vouchers and thank you for taking the time and effort to redistribute.0 -

Snap! People that don't really know us ask why we don't go anywhere else. Well we do as we go to Spain twice a year as well just for a completely chill out week. However before we went back to Vegas in 2005, we had been everywhere from Australia, to Russia, Romania(!), Florida, Iceland and everywhere in between as well as about 12 cruises.
Funnily enough, the people who question our Vegas trips either don't go abroad at all or only go to Turkey or Cyprus once a year. Hardly makes them globetrotters.
Having exhausted other places that we want to go to, Vegas is our holiday of choice for now.0 -
My parents come to visit me about 6 times a year. It has absolutely nothing to do with me living in Vegas. They just love coming to see me.
In fact when I lived in Chicago they used to visit me............once a year!!! OK so maybe me living in Vegas has something to do with their multiple visits every year :rotfl:0 -

me too. I have been going once or twice a year for quite some time! Love the place - have had to cut down on the gambling as I was spending a bit too much. Now I go with a fixed budget per day and when it's gone it's gone.0 -

Same here, I have travelled quite a bit (was in the Navy for a few years). I havent found anywhere else quite like Vegas.0 -
MarchDitto to what so many others have said...I keep thinking I would actually like to get back to going to Vegas once a year and try something else for the other main trip each year...but every time we look into it and start thinking about options - we always go back to Vegas. Having family in the US helps as we can justify 'tacking Vegas on'...even if we spend more days in Vegas than my hometown each year.
We just kind of find most other places a bit boring I think...we don't do relaxing holidays really...just doesn't suit us (I really think it would be nice if it did)...Vegas is just perfect for us.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

SeptemberUs too - we've just returned from our fifth trip to Vegas, as part of a road trip. Whilst we were there we kind of decided we were done with Vegas for a while, now we're back we keep talking about going again next year. The place is seriously addictive.0
