not sure if is normal, but we used a voucher for the free Nathan Burton balcony tickets (got them on a Wednesday for the Sunday show and they only had 5 of the freebies left), and one of the stubs on the Nathan Burton tickets was a voucher for Divas Las Vegas for $15.71...I assume that gets you the cheap seats (normally $39 I think) but seems like a decent deal...I know you can get discounts on the show fairly easily - we booked through the Travelzoo deal that was on awhile ago for $25 and though that was a very good deal...but had we not seen Divas the night before we saw Nathan Burton I have little doubt we would have taken up the $15.71 offer.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Wynn is my favourite. Planet Hollywood Spice Market buffet is also pretty decent. Queues at both can be pretty horrific though at busy times (unless you have the right card to get into the VIP line).

Having said that, I only eat in the buffet once or twice during a holiday. Even with the better ones, the quality of food isn't great and there are much better dining options IMO.

Hey, I've been sorting out our itinerary for where we're going and eating etc and I'm trying to find a buffet we can have for dinner for the night we arrive. We'll have been in LA already for 4 days so we won't be overly tired or anything so no need to worry about that. We're going to see the Lion King at Mandalay Bay that night and I'm hoping to eat somewhere close by, preferably a buffet since it's the only night we can do this on and we both really want to try one. Any suggestions welcome!

:cool:Yeah even with the vouchers its $74 for an 8-10 min actual flight, I have seen $65 for a 10-13min flight already.

Seems a lot for not a great flight time, will prob still do it tho....hmmm

So how much do you think it costs to fuel, maintain, purchase the helicopters and pay the pilots. The cost is what it is, take it or leave it
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

We enjoyed it well enough, especially for free...he was a likable guy, though we found a lot of his illusions were very similar (box sort of stuff)...to be honest, I think overall we actually preferred the filler acts. The juggler was hilarious - Jeff Civillico. Then there was a comedian who had audience members come up and put on masks and it's just too hard to explain. :) If we had to choose an afternoon comedy magic act we would go with Mac King, but are glad we saw Nathan Burton. We didn't get there early enough to get the front seats at the tables along the first balcony so went up a level - which was absolutely fine for most of it but there were a couple of points we couldn't see what was going on when something was happening in the audience.

    and pay for insurance. :)

We've never done a strip helicopter trip as it does seem a lot of money for a few minutes, BUT we get why it's so pricey...just depends if it's value for money for an individual...if the experience is worth it...one day we may decide that it is, I can see how it could be justified.

We saw him last year and both agreed afterwards that the guy had no stage presence at all and just felt, well cringey for most of the show. I'd forgotten about the filler acts - yes from what I can remember they were pretty fun. It's definately a family friendly act so you could happily take the kids along and not be worried about them seeing anything they shouldn't see :)

We got the tickets for free - to be honest I wouldn't pay to see him. Maybe we only felt this way as we'dseen Penn & Teller a couple of days earlier :rotfl:
