I can't say we thought it was dirty, more dingy. Quantity without quality just about sums it up.

We paid full price the first time as it had not long opened there and hubby saw it featured on the TV so fancied it. He had their signature chicken and waffles which would have fed 4 adults. He ate about half of it and couldn't be bothered with the rest. I had a pasta dish and hardly touched it as I wasn't really hungry.

I thought we had just made bad choices and that's why we went back this year, only to have the same opinion.

I think I have a $10 r.com cert that I was going to use for breakfast so not sure if it will be used now.

    How are you finding Cosmo?

Hope you had a good birthday meal and the cards start turning for you!

Wish I was back in Vegas instead of watching the rain here:(

View is awesome, room is great,Brunch buffet is great and helps that it is free for international guests. but woont stay here again as I still prfer the Orleans. I cant afford the $25 minimum at the tables here.

Meal at T de B was great, we were all stuffed with the amount of meat we had.

Just heading down fro last breakfast here and then off to Sedona for a couple of nights.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

OK get ready for this, I am about to be impressed with something.
Used the M resort pool a few days ago and loved it, $15 for non local guys and free for all women, beds are supper comfy, plenty of space and staff are really helpful. I know this is of no interest to most but if you want a day away from the rat race this is an option. Also all the bars at M have all cocktails at $5, and all beers domestic and import at $3. We went to the buffet for lunch, $15.99 and wait for it............

    It was really good:T:D:T

Back home now, who turned on the sprinklers and turned off the heaters. Sitting here in my hoodie writing this and told Tracy to never moan about 115f heat again.

We like to spend a day or two at the M Resort. The pool area is lovely, and I agree with you about the buffet.

we loved the M Resort buffet...but the wait was sooo long - though we did have a 2-for-1 voucher.

stoneman - welcome home! Glad you liked the buffet for lunch - seem to recall you not being that impressed with dinner?

We are again toying with the HHAGG deal that joaniemerc posted...more because we want to try it - and it would effectively be a pre-paid breakfast or lunch. Will study the menu as the $14.95 limit may mean it will take out some things we may want, or may work out cheaper just to buy what we want on the day...have had r.com vouchers previously for one of the off-strip locations, probably been 5 years since we have wanted to try it.

And hope it's a great birthday, photome!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yes dinner wasn't that great but we did go all the way out there and it was seafood night, $29.99 ouch!
We queued at 1:30 and only waited about 10 minutes.
The only thing that seems to bother me about the M is the lack of people. The casino is so huge that it doesn't have any atmosphere,.... or cocktail waitresses, but at $5 a throw for a premium beverage no great loss

    Hi all
Got back from our 3 week west-USA tour yesterday (SD, LA, Yosemite, DValley, LV, GC, MValley, Denver, Estes Park). Here's the Vegas part.... Restaurants come after.

    2nts at TI....
Drove up strip and parked at TI no problem. Used $10 trick (felt cheap but didn't have a $20 bill in my pocket) and got upgraded to Strip View. Loved the feel of TI and after having visited a few other hotels we decided we made a good choice.

    3nts at Mandalay Bay...
We got a great deal for MB - $60/night. But then the $20 trick got us upgraded from a basic 550DR, to a lovely suite at THEHotel! What a result! (Loved the huge bath!) Really like the contemporary feel at THEHotel. We liked the MB Casino too. Played a lot of Craps, and even came 4th in my first sit down Poker Tournament! Amazing pool - great fun. Would stay here again anytime, as we quickly worked out the 2 minute monorail/tram to Excalibur puts you a short walk back into the heart of the strip.

    Thoughts on other Hotels....
Excalibur / Circus - yeugh! Glad we didn't go cheap! Horrible.
MGM - liked the art, but not the lion enclosure. Even the kids agreed.
PH - liked the party feel, but not with the kids.

    Eating....
ISLA Mexican Restaurant at TI, with a Groupon. Excellent!
Red White & Blue @ Mandalay Bay - excellent quality food. Best ribs we ever tasted.
Stripburger with r.com cert - lived up to expectations! Incredible! And the best shakes ever.

Loved the whole experience. Co-pilot app worked like a dream. Thanks all for your help!
