I'm looking at booking Vegas in April, which sites are best?
I've looked at lastminute.com, Expedia and ebookers and open to either booking things separately or flight and hotel in one.
Thanks in advance0 -

Have a read through page 1 - loads of info to start with there.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

smartervegas.com or ask on here... where do you fancy staying0 -
We booked our trip through Thomas Cook last year as it worked out cheaper than doing it all ourselves - I think it is pretty standard that they try and sell you their pre-paid currency card, which is actually a Travelex card.
We did some digging and it's actually better to go direct through Travelex, as the Thomas Cook one charges you to withdraw (on top of what the machine charges you).
We both took Travelexcards with us and they were really good - can just check your balance really easily by calling the number on the back, and they were acceted everywhere we went, just like a normal credit/debit card.
We too are getting married in Vegas (in July) and are using Travelex again
Hope this helps
my mum had one of the thomas cook cards, wouldnt reccomend it, she had some money left over and there appears to be no way to get your money out of it again without loosing lots in the exchange
better option is to get a credit card and take plenty of cash/travelers cheques0 -

It sounds from this like Travelex isn't necessarily the best of the prepaid cards (2% top-up fee?) and not as good an exchange rate as FairFX or Caxton.

I was just wondering if there was any other sites to book other than the ones I mentioned.
Have you checked all the links on page 10 -

Or would people recommend booking separate, just wondered how much more that would cost in general as Virgin flights seem to be £700 on their own0
