Just booked via Ebookers after many hours of tryig to get an extra special bargain. Basically I got 9 nights at the Luxor flying from Gatwick on 4th March for £837. The bonus was that under the " other rooms available" option was the chance to upgrade to a Pyramid spa room that have the seperate living area and hot tub. This was for an extra £147 (the original price was around £760)

Pleased with that deal and a lot of the room options are 30% off the package price at the moment! The Luxor site even with a 25% discount code was $1500 for that suite and with the flights being £540 for those dates I think its a cracking deal:)

EDIT Oh and I got 6% cashback with Topcashback too!!

I have just paid less than that to go for xmas i stayed at the bellagio for 7 nights 20-27th and paid £489 for the room (4 of us in it) and around £520 each for the flight total waqs around £750 each that's not splitting the room 4 waqys as they were children.I think the price for flights is good but you can get better hotel deals..
Not having a go or anything and if your happy with that then that's great as everyone has their own choice of hotel etc..wish i was going again

To be fair, you went to Vegas possibly the cheapest week of the year in terms of hotel rates so not really fair to compare. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I wasn't having a go it's each to their own etc etc..I just wouldn't pay that amount to stay at the luxor as we all have our prefernces..i have stayed at circus circus too so i can't say a lot ha ha..sorry if i was having a go..i am sure aldridgeboy will have a fab time regardless
As far as rates they trippled in price over xmas at our hotel nearer the time

no, didn't think you were having a go...just that just before and just after Christmas is the least expensive time of the year to go to Vegas...so hard to compare rates for that period with other times of the year...aldridgeboy arrives right before NASCAR weekend as well, which may push rates up a bit.

I'm also not really a Luxor fan and the pyramid spa room we had was quite worn, but it was a big room and the spa tub was nice...it averages out at about $100/night (assuming £837-540 to get the hotel price, x 2 - assuming 2 are going - / 9 for the daily rate, * 1.53) which may not be too bad for that room - we paid $113 3 years ago for one night (Sunday) on what was at the time a pretty good deal.

Well I wanted to get it booked as other years when I have been prices have shot up the later we have left it (we are going to Bar and club show and it gets busy). I ve not stayed in Luxor before but have spent some time there and needed a cheaper end hotel this time. Previous years my friend has paid for us and we have stopped at Wynn, Venetian and Palazzo which are all fabulous. However we noticed last time that there is more of a party atmosphere in Luxor/New York New York/Excalibur especially early evening before we go to the clubs so wanted to stop nearer that end. I will not be in the room that much anyway and I was on the brink of booking the Excalibur for £660 when I saw the suite option. I still think that is a good price and I think for a group of lads it maybe more suitable for us to "let our hair down" without getting frowned upon ( I hope that does nt make us sound like hooligans lol)

As I say with the current promo codes the same room with 25% off is $1500 so I think the price is ok.But that Xmas deal sounds great at the Bellagio the year I did nt go my friends stayed there and the bars there are lovely. I did have the option for Bellagio via a contact for $199 dollars weekend nights and $159 weekdays but wanted to go on a slightly smaller budget ( Recession etc lol)
I did nt think you were having a go pudding!!

Hi, I am new to all this ! Just booked to go to Vegas in August.

I have looked at the restaurant code above, can you tell me where it says on the individual restaurants terms etc minimum spend $50 does that mean per voucher or per booking ? Can i buy more than 1 voucher for a meal.

Are there any recommended restaurants in Las Vegas that use that scheme ??

    Thanks

It's one voucher per transaction so the $50 will be for the table, where will you be staying and do you have use of a car will help people to give you some suggestions
