Dont know about a blog but she does post a lot on holiday-truth.com, where you can also find lots of info on Vegas0 -
MarchThe rooms are good at Palazzo, but how have you found it cheaper than the Venetian, it is usually the other way round as the Palazzo is the Venetians new tower
If its cheaper than Mirage I would book it NOW as it should be about double the price of the Mirage, ie I have a reservation at Mirage for Aug for $56 a night plus resort fee but The Palazzo is always more than double that
Totally agree with this - unless the rates for the other hotels are really out of whack due to something we don't know about seems odd that Palazzo would be less than the others.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Hotels.com 19-22 Sep (10% cash back through quidco too I think)
Venetian £373 Luxury Suite
Palazzo £279 Luxury Suite
Mirage £339 Deluxe room
Cosmo £386 City Room
Non-Refundable Rates though - only thing putting me off booking.
This is our 1st trip to Vegas so would like a really nice hotel. Don't think we are that bothered about paying extra for a view from our room though, but will try the $20 trick when checking in.0 -

Have you checked rates booking direct with the hotels? You could get the same room at Palazzo booking direct (but also non-refundable) for £305 - but would include some extras - which may or may not have any value to you...though excludes resort fee - which I'm not sure would be included in the hotels.com rates either...but booking direct you would, if you gamble, have a chance to perhaps get a discounted rate when you check out...though Palazzo has recently made a lot of people mad with their players club comps.- Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro – 20% off Breakfast or Brunch
- Canyon Ranch SpaClub – $35 off 50 minute Massage or Facial
- LAVO Nightclub – Complimentary Line Pass and Admission (Not Valid 12/31 or 1/1)
- Zine Noodles Dim Sum – $30 off your bill of $60 or more
- Salute Lounge – 2-for-1 well drinks
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Best price I can get is about 130 per person with viator and a coupon code...
Well I just booked the South Rim trip with Viator and a coupon code for two of us. Works out at circa £123 per person
Am thinking of going to see Penn and Teller. Has anyone been? If so, what are the 'Mezzanine' travelzoo seats like? Too far from the action or OK?0 -

If you get the 10% cashback through Quidco I think that price for Palazzo would be very difficult to beat if not impossible, remember there is still resort fee to add on to the Hotels.com price and palazzo own site price.
For a first visit to Vegas you would not be disapponted with a room at Palazzo0 -
