The Lion King recently put up their prices so that may be the best you can do. I admit I haven't been keeping an eye on LK prices recently, but the TZ offers are usually pretty good.
Thanks Luci that is good to know, think we will get them booked as this is the last day for them :(

Just noticed an offer on the Bally's site called Buffet of Buffets.

It gives you two 24 Hour Buffet passes valid at: Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, and Rio.

2 question to you knowledgeable lot; are those 7 sites a good selection? and, does that mean 2 passes in total or one every 24 hours for your stay? The info on the site is far from clear ??

I don't know about the pass, but can tell you that we have tried both Caesers and Flamingo's breakfast buffet's and both were ok. I think that Caesers were more pricey and Flamingo had more choice, plus if you're lucky enough to be seated at the window at Flamingo, you can watch the duckies at a waterfall/pond setting.
We haven't done the Paris buffet, but they have a nice cafe that do a decent breakfast.

I believe you can get 4 meals from this by having a late breakfast on the first day and a early one the second.

What do you mean? who gives you the passes? Is that a an offer when booking a room, if so it should say in the t and c how many passes you get.

Yes it is a good selection. the pass can be bought for about $45 (I think, it keeps going up) for 24hours

    EDIT

Just check ballys site and it reads that you get 2 passes when booking 2 nights, so it will be 2 passes per stay not per night.

A random check on 18th and 19th july brought up 2 nights for $153 with free passes or booking via friends and family link (below)the same 2 nights are $70 so in reality you are paying for the passes

Thanks. Just rechecked the info and found the same thing.
So 2 of you get 2 passes in total for 2 day. So you eat free for one day.
Ok, what happens if you booked 2 lots of 2 days to run one after the other? Say 3 and 4 in one booking and 5 and 6 on another? You think they'd give you 4 passes ? Or is that pushing your luck??

I take your point about the cost, but I was checking their room rates yesterday and today with the offer it's only $10 more a night on the dates we're looking at. I'm guessing you can't eat in Vegas for $10 a day any other way !

I'm back!!!! Absolutely knackered as I got about an hour's sleep on the plane back, will try and do a TR tomorrow but here's a brief summary:

Las Vegas: It was cold. I got ill.
Los Angeles: It was cold. I got better.
    :D
Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard

I am not sure if your idea would work, unless you checked out and then checked in again.

What dates are you looking at

I think you could only do this if you didn't mention the 2nd booking at the time you checked in for the first - made them in different names too...and checked out, and checked back in...wouldn't be worth it to us. We like the Paris buffet for breakfast (some don't), we like PH for dinner (some don't)...we like Rio for dinner...but we haven't done the Buffet of Buffets one because the price has gone up so much and two because we don't want to feel like we have to eat at a particular place to get value out of it...sometimes we just don't know what we will want to eat that far ahead.

And you could eat for $10 a day in Vegas several other ways if you wanted to. :)
