MayLuci we are staying at the Cosmopolitan for 2 nights in 2 weeks time, think we just have a standard city room booked, did you ask for an upgrade when you went? and if I would like a view of the bellagio fountains which side would I be best to ask for?0
-
MayI believe the City rooms are in the west tower and don't have a balcony. They are only 460 sq ft compared to 620 sq ft for the studio plus a 110 sq ft balcony. It also doesn't mention "view" so I'm guessing it they don't have a premium view.
The City Room has 2 queen beds and the studio has a king bed.
In my experience, and from what I have read, they don't give free upgrades.
Looking at the website I think the City rooms only has a shower and no bath. It's a jacuzzi bath in the studio.
You would need to ask for a room facing north to get a view of the fountains if they have such a thing.
I would suggest calling them to see if they have City Rooms with a view before you get your hopes up.
The difference in price between a City Room and a Terrace Studio is only $10-20 a night. However from Terrace Studio to Terrace Studio Premium View is an additional $60 a night.
Oh, and the rate we booked didn't include breakfast. We only found the deals which included breakfast a few days later. However at check in the girl said that breakfast was included which was a bonus as that saved us another $36.0 -
MayIf you are outside my guess (I havent been in may before) is that jeans and (stuff ?) will be ok, bear in mind that when you are inside, everywhere is air conditioned so it never gets hot

We had a great night at Casa di Amore. Doug, the lounge singer who is on during the week, was leaving after 7 years and all his family and friends were there. They had noted that it was my birthday and our server, Kathleen, made sure everyone knew.
We went to Casa di Amore for DH's 50th in November and Kathleen was so lovely! She even hugged us when we left. What a sweetheart!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

OctoberLuci,
Was that compo from BA per person or for the pair? We will have some of that if offered when we come back on the 26th.
Don't know if it would be offered to CW pax though. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
SeptemberLuci, any chance we could see some of your Scoot City Tour pics? I'm trying to talk my husband into doing it!0

I hope they didn't spell his name Krugg on the shirt - its Kruk! He was an all-star in the 90's and the video of him facing Randy Johnson is legendary! He does commentate on ESPN (channel 531 on Virgin Media) America 2-3 times a week.

MarchSpursman- Don't suppose you noticed if the 7 card straight flush bonus on pai gow poker at Orleans had gone? It was over $320 000 when we were there in April, it was really difficult to get a seat as people were hoping to hit. Know you play texas poker but just thought i'd ask
Did you have a good run on the poker?
Reddeb- There is also a cheesecake factory at The District at Green Valley Ranch. This is a drive off the strip but I like it, the area has a very different feeling to the strip, very calm and peaceful. I think its worth a visit if you have time and a car.

The Paigow bonus must have gone as it is about $238k Someone on one of the tables was commenting on it. At the Gold Coast it was $138k0
