OH is dying to do a grand canyon trip while we're there, i'm trying to make out i'm not fussed and we wont have enough time but am hoping to book a trip as a surprise for him. Can anyone recommend any good trips they've done? or even good companies?
thanks.
I have booked a tour through VIATOR (viator.com), seems they do loads of tours around the Vegas area.
Price looks good but there is a $40pp fuel fee payable at the time. Remember a tip too, it wouldn't be Vegas without a tip for the Pilot!
My wife and I are going for our 2nd wedding anniversary which is 4th July, and will be there over the whole holiday weekend. I'm assuming the city will be close to capacity, but can anyone here suggest a good place to watch fireworks or any special events???

The papers normally compile events
http://calendar.reviewjournal.com/las-vegas-nv/events/4th+of+july - likely more detail nearer the time.
Some info from last year here.

I spent 4th July in Vegas last year - you lucky person!!!!
We stayed at Bally's ( we liked it) and just walked outside the hotel and up to where you're between the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace - literally about a minute's walk.
Ceasar's had the most fabulous fireworks I've ever seen - and I'm a Disney freak! The Vegas show was just spectacular!!!!
Enjoy!:beer:0 -

ooooh I'm glad to hear that there is exciting 4 July stuff going on! we'll be there at this time too, can't wait now... I was starting to get the idea that there wouldn't be much going on as it's party central anyway. got to love some fireworks though!0 -
JuneMy bird, ooops, i mean my wife to be
and the other women in the group will be looking to use a stylist to do there hair on the day of our wedding (next month on tuesday!)
Whats the best way of doing this, looking for a mobile hairdresser to come to our hotel room and just style there hair?
or should they go out somewhere and get it done ? (could be 3 or 4 women....)
our hotel is the Trop, and in terms of space for a stylist to come to the hotel, i have a SUITE, YES A SUITE!!! woooohooooooo !!!!!
or do hotels have there own stylists ?0 -
Marchmost bigger hotels have a salon
http://www.troplv.com/pool-and-spa/salon
But I would guess you would get better prices with someone who comes to you - sure those who have been married in Vegas could give you some ideas...but given that it's the wedding capital of the world, I'm sure that there are loads of stylists who come to hotel rooms.
Congrats on the suite.I do hope that you gamble at Tropicana a bit as it's likely they are being so generous in the hope that they will get some play out of your group.
