Theres gonna be 9 of us in my wedding party, wedding is at 5pm, out by 5:30 ! :D , so i've said for us to goto either: Harley Davidson Rock Cafe or BB Kings blues place! :):) Helps i got $100 R.com vouchers!
I quite like the idea of somewhere hip with nice steaks for our wedding meal kinda thing!

We are getting 2 x limos from the hotel to the gazebo where she is getting married but I have no idea how long the service is ?

I was looking at that site, I think I will pass the link onto her as there are some good deals, am not sure what kind of meal they will want, its their wedding after all and there are 3 kids to think about so will need to be family friendly, I think they may go for the Rock Cafe......I liked the look of the peppermill but we shall wait and see, thanks for that and good luck with your wedding :D

BB Kings has live music from about 8 onwards, on our only visit there was a wedding party there who were married earlier in the day. Once the band heard this they made sure the bride had her first dance which I thought was a lovely touch.

That said, food was average but in fairness to BB Kings probably our choice was poor.

Still it's a long time from 5:30 to live music - you might not be fit to dance

https://www.destinationcoupons.com has coupon for $5 off the Spice market buffet. As it has gone downhill since it was voted the No1 in Vegas, the coupon makes it reasonable value.

On my visits it was 20 minutes to an hour for the restaurant was the average wait- not a problem as the drink is very reasonably priced and we sit at the bar waiting to be called by a number they give you. Usually a bit less if the party size in 4 or less.

Barbecue - opens at 4 - closes at 10 - usually 30 minutes - 1.5 hours, much less if you ask to sit outside. Worth the wait !!:j

It will vary dependant on the time of year too.......

just received a couple of Sim cards for use in vegas. Does anyone know if the big chains, walgreens or cvs will sell credit for AT&T Go phone sim cards? and if not being a native when trying to buy credit will be an issue?

i love timeshare people! purely for the fact i have no interest in one, and i can say lots of negative things when it comes to presentation and the hard sell! :D:D:D:D
if i get could 2 $100 show tickets for free for sitting in a room for 2 hours, i'd do it, and give them my pre-paid credit card which has £3.52 on it! :D:D

the 'room' is normally somewhere away from the strip...so you're reliant upon them to bring you back...have read some awful stories about very hard sell, got nasty when they clearly weren't interested...had to wait ages to be taken back (seem to recall 6 hours)...not to say they are all like that, but no way in this world would I waste any time on them...unless we werent for weeks at a time like the lucky Ms. Pebbles or something.

We liked sitting outside - only time we have was last trip...depends on the weather as the grill is outside.

We've had waits up to 2 hours before...and depending on where you need to be after, it wasn't easy the one time we needed a taxi as they don't have a taxi rank there - they have to call one for you. You can't hail taxis on the street in Vegas, and we had a show to get to...we did make it, but it was getting a bit close.

Stoneman has a theory about timings for EI - I can't remember exactly, but I think since it opens at 4, there are normally plenty waiting at that point...he said that they're normally slow to get the first lot of orders out, so it's usually about 5 before they start turning the tables.

In any event, go earlier than you think you need to...that way if you get in and out quicker than expected, you've got time to kill before your 9pm.
