so are they in essence somewhere to go and sit/relax with complimentary food/drink?

which side of security are they?

    After security.
Last time i went to vegas we used the virgin upper class lounge and its good to get away from the hustle n bustle.
As longs as i can get a bacon roll and a few beer/vodka's ill be happy.

anyone? deal ends in 3 hours :)

It looks like membership entitles you to one visit to a lounge...after that it seems it's a discount on future entries for the year's membership period...which may be worth it, just at first glance, before reading through it - seemed a remarkably good deal. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

You've not said WHEN you are going so it's hard to say if that £480 fare is a good deal or a VERY good deal.

We've already answered your question about where to look for the hotel deals -people on here will help but you do need to do the looking for yourself :) If you find what think is a good deal -we'll tell you if it is or if you may be able to do better. Did you see the comment before about your players club cards btw ? No idea if your total budget of £600-£800 is realistic as you haven't said how long you are going for or if that price is for one person in the room or two !

(Glad Kayak was useful for you-have you checked out their hotel side too btw?)

Photome, I don't yet have the funds. I am just at the planning stages right now. And besides, I don't know if I want to spend 15 hours getting there. The last few times I have flown direct.

Duchy, I don't sign up for players club cards because I don't gamble. I have heard of getting some good deals when signing up so maybe I will the next time I am there. I usually go for a week. That price is for one person.

The next planned trip is March next year. It may seem early to some but I want to get ahead now.

Flight prices for March (depending on date) are just being released, IMO that is often the cheapest time to purchase, doesnt help you if you cant pay for them though. As for the 15 hours to get there, I also prefer direct but if you want to save money then a connecting flight may be worth it.

Direct flights have been up to £700 ish this year, admittedly that is summer prices, I dont think there have been any under £550 though.

Did you read page 1 for all links to hotel discounts? But you wont get deals at hotels for next march until maybe October time this year, benefit of booking direct is that you only need to pay 1 nights deposit (refundable) and the balance on check out

As for packages, as mentioned, not many if any regulars on here will book a package

If you don't gamble the only card that is likely to be of use to you is Total Rewards -assuming you eat or attend shows at any of the Harrah's properties (bit hard not to though). I don't quite understand why you would apply for the other group's cards if you don't gamble though ?????

For someone who goes very often to Vegas as you claim I'm somewhat surprised at some of your questions though

decided to give it a go :) will report back in July after we've been!
at £12pp that doesn't seem a bad price to pay if you get a breakfast, drinks/snacks, papers, wifi & relaxed start to the holidays all thrown in. will be interesting to see if it's worth the regular price of £36 :)

I'll on be using this voucher for the No1traveller room the once, the years membership wont benefit me, but £12 instead of the £25 it costs (or £20 without champagne) sounds a good deal if i can munch my way through £12's worth of Bacon rolls! hehe :):) Buying now.....

Oh, and as to my comment about TimeShares, i would'nt be wasting my time on them! was saying if i did, what i'd do kinda thing!

And BB Kings, i like the idea of the live music and the possibility of them doing a first dance! I wanted a later wedding but the silly moo wanted a 4:30pm gazebo wedding, settled on 5pm! Out by 5:30pm, and then i guess into the Harley Davidson rock cafe for the wedding meal (somthing different as opposed to going somewhere quiet and overpriced!)...
Think i am gonna look into the BB Kings a bit more though, see if we can find a stop gap before going there, would be cool especially if the band called us up! :D:D

same here, can't think the membership will be of any interest, we don't use the airport that much. but after getting a breakfast, coffees, drinks, etc. at the terminal I'm sure we'll hit near £12pp anyway :)
