Ellis Island BBQ plate. For Stuie.

We made the mistake of arriving about 8pm(Thursday)...2 hour wait...but still, we used our drinks vouchers from the LVA MRB and between us were slightly better than break even by the time we sat down to eat.

And that stupid coupon...hubby always orders a full rack, and since it's buy one get one free I do...since it seems silly not to maximize the value of the coupon...I will never be able to eat a whole rack...and yet, I still order it...it's silly.

Also, the phrase 'pork coma' was used shortly after we finished. :)

Another great on with kids, off the strip but worth the trip is Sunset Station. It's opposite the Gallaria Mall which I love and has bowling, cinema and a creche all inside! The creche (kids quest) is fab, about $7 an hour (varies with age) and can be used whilst you are in the casino. They do need immunisation records though so take red books :)

They have a Kids Quest at the Palms too (never used it - no kids :)) - cinema there and IMAX...though no bowling.

There is an In and Out Burger in the parking lot across from Sunset Station as well (and a WalMart) so it's an all purpose destination.

Depends where you are on the strip. this one is the closest, just of tropicana, a couple of blocks behind NYNY

But of course that couple of blocks is actually 3/4 mile from the front of NYNY

I assume you are talking about the one on the corner of Tropicana and industrial/Dean Martin . I wouldn't even walk to it if I was staying in NYNY, you will be going up along an 8 lane road, the sidewalk runs out where it goes over the I15, and all of this for a burger, no I wouldn't walk it
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Agree - while I know people do it, I think it's kind of bonkers...crossing the entrance/exit ramps to a motorway on foot is something that I will have to pass on. :)

Funny you should say that. We saw 4 20 something lads walking across Paradise one evening, all in Ted Baker shirts, hands in pockets, we agreed that they had to be Brits, because that is what Brit guys do, they walk on a night out. We quite often do the "spot the Brit thing" mostly when we see stag and hen parties all dressed in the same stuff and looking like drunken fools. I can never get my head around why a mature man would want to go out dressed as a girl, with all his mates egging him on, do they have no self respect? lol

  • Do we still get discount codes for restaurant.com and if so does anyone have one?

    Thanks in advance
