Is a pool important, if it is NYNY prob not best place to stay either0 -
AugustAnyone know the charges and maximum withdrawable per day at the atm's for uk bank accounts and credit cards ?
Are there different fees depending where you withdraw at ?
fees are different and range from about $1.5 to $4.5, I assume you are talking ATM charges and not your own bank charges which could add even more on
Have you raed travelmoneymaximiser sticky.
Maximum I could withdraw on my Nationwide debit card was about $500 a day but varied depending on exchange rate0 -
MarchAnyone know the charges and maximum withdrawable per day at the atm's for uk bank accounts and credit cards ?

For debit cards at most ATMs in Vegas the limit imposed by your bank will be less than what the ATM would give you if it could...all our UK accounts have a £300/day limit...but the acutal withdrawal plus whatever charge your bank will levy (if any) plus the charge from the ATM (as photome said) will have to fall at or under the daily withdrawal limit. Also remember it's a UK day, not a Vegas day.
For credit cards, the ATM limits are very high (in the thousands if I remember correctly - I don't pay that much attention as I never cash advance a CC). I would imagine each card provider has a limit so you should check with your provider. I think that there's a way to withdraw more than your limit from the ATM, but the charges the ATM will make are ridiculous.
ATMs will show the 3 charges on a card on the machine - debit/bank card, CC within limit and CC over limit. Someone on another board once took a picture and posted it but I can't find it at the moment - it was several years ago I think.
Agree that checking the travelmoneymaximizer to get an idea what charges your bank/CC provider will apply.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MarchHave a great time ferf. Where are you staying this time, I think I saw PH mentioned, anywhere else?
Thanks Luci! Yes, PH for the duration and 1 night at MB and 2 nights at Wynn.
I'm getting nervous about PH in terms of reported valet slowness and trek from self parking...starting to question whether this was a good idea...but we shall see! We like the casino and loads of the dining options and it will be nice to try something new.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November / DecemberIs a pool important, if it is NYNY prob not best place to stay either
I've never been before so I don't really know what the weather's like, but we're going in November and I'm not sure how warm it is to really make use of the pool? We aren't going until the 21st-23rd Nov so it's near the end as well. Anyone know what type of weather to expect?0 -
Mayhave a great time ferf, looking forward to hearing your trip report0

probably sunny but not sunbathing weather . it does rain and every so often snow in Vegas . but being in the middle of the desert the chances are it will dry .
probably a bit chilly for the pool then .
what room @ NYNY ? . we had a Park Avenue room which was just fine for us . you can get virtual tours of the rooms on the official website .
don't fret about the Rollercoaster going past your room , it does not disturb you and only runs in the day anyway .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

Anyone a professional and got some good advice ?
WAP, try this site, www.blackjackinfo.com, it has a simulator that you can set with the house rules and play. It also has a strategy card engine, which you again set for the house rules and it allows you to print off.0
