I'm watching a brilliant film on More4,'Gangs of New York' with Daisy cat on my lap,Miss Spike next to me (chatting to friends on her lappy) & a pint or three of Cider for me,wine for her.
Earlier on I was chatting to mates on Facebook who have just got back from Afghanistan on R&R.
BBC TV is dire.Did anyone else notice that the BBC were showing James May's sisters top toy's earlier & about half an hour later,so was 'Watch' on Sky.I rarely watch terrestrial TV anymore....

    T

It's a good film if a little long. I got somewhat confused at times as the two main protagonists look so alike!

  • I'm in tonight thanks to pneumonia:( and must admit I was disappointed when I looked at what was on. I have watched J Creek, even tho its a repeat, but only as the best of a bad bunch. I have been generally pleased with some of the films and dramas this Christmas, but have spent the past few days watching them on iplayer and am now down to the dregs:cool:

Get use to repeats from BEEB they are cutting back next year on programs and rumours that BBC4 may go. Mind you even a repeat is better than some of the rubbish on ITV, Ch4 and CH5 has about 2 viewers, I not being one of them ;)

The Les Miserables program the other night was well worth the licence fee.
