I'm not that far from there!!! Spooky! :) I do want to join a club, I think it would motivate me to go when i don't feel like it, and I'm a sociable creature :)

Yes, that is what I meant - where did the words go? Maye I was typing so fast I forgot them lol. Have edited to correct it now so I don't look like a total loon.

    That's a great site, I'll give it a go!

It took me a while to pluck up courage to go to the club as I just thought everyone would be better than me, but we're only small (about 10 or so most sessions, prob about 20 members in total) and it's based at my OH rugby club which made it easier as I'd been going up to rugby for 10 years by that point. Anyway, we kind of walked in together the first time and the rest is history really (and I was the slowest at first, but I'm not now :)). I'm a social creature as well, and make sure everyone's feeling properly involved and that we're doing things people enjoy. I have a few roles - general secretary, social secretary, membership secretary and clubwear organiser :rotfl::rotfl:.

Use all your nicest stuff so you're at your most confident and give it a go! Website is http://www.dubrunners.org.uk/index.html ;)

Hi all, another UU: Nivea Visage Anti-wrinkle Q10 eye cream. WIBA: probably... at 34 with a 3 month old I've not a bag under the eye or a wrinkle in sight...although not sure if that's down to good genes, luck with regard to Lucas' routine or the cream though!!

Glad to see we're all getting on really well - big test is tomorrow... I will not buy the S&G value pack, however tempted I might be - 25 shower gels, 32 body creams and over 300 products in total (found some more!!) is more than enough!!

Back working in community teaching today and oh boy was I tested. No, not on the teaching, that was great. but I always go in Home Bargains to buy a coffee-time treat for my learners.

Home Bargains has had the same stuff in the toiletries line for AGES .... until this week, it would seem.

Oceans of new tempting bits and pieces. Lotions, body oils ... I walked past the lot.
Yes, I resisted. Unbelievably. I was looking at a Dove Cellulite Firming Cream - huge tube for £1.49! Last one on the shelf.

Then I remembered the general advice I'd read in Bad Science. It's the action of applying the cream that might help to stimulate circulation and improve cellulite, not the actual cream itself. I body-brush anyway. Back it went on the shelf.

I also got relatively low - calorie Jaffa Cakes for the coffee break :)

that is some achievement! I struggle to make £100, you must be some super survey queen!!

another site (i really shouldn't post on this thread of all pages!!) is clixresearch.com but it does have a million questions to answer in registration!! it is worth it, trials can be few and far between but they are usually quality items!

I would recommend signing up to clix too, Ive had some fab stuff to test. most of them you cant tell who makes the product, but once they had left a label on a product which was a full size soap and glory 'fill monty' and another time I had a M+S neck gel, both were lovely.

have had a quite few use ups in the last couple of days, seems a lot but I had decided to put all my minis and half used stuff in a basket to use up first, I thought it might give me some motivation to stick to the plan if I could see some quick results lol

Liz earle skin tonic mini - this is my HG toner, have still got 2 full size ones but am starting on an opened NO7 toner next
L'oreal dermogenesis moisturiser - found this a bit heavy and dragged my skin a bit, which is a shame as Ive got 4 more to use up after a glitch in Sainsburys lol
Mini Bodyshop vitE cream, used it up on my feet as didnt like the smell on my face.
Olay eyepods sample WIBA - no, I found them a bit weird tbh and really fiddly to use
Brazil nut body butter, still got loads of tubs left :o
Dove deodorant, will buy again when Ived used the others up, it was the grapefruit one, really liked the smell
genifique serum sample, I got a few of these free with coupons a couple of months ago and really didnt believe all the hype the SAs gave me but I have noticed a definite difference in my skin - hasnt done anything for the wrinkles but looks smooth and glowing. WIBA? well, would love to but its £53

Good luck to those people going to the Boots sale, Im going to be good and not go this time, first time for about 3 years!!!!!
  • UU today - Aveda shampure.
WIBA - absolutely, it's my holy grail shampoo, but I've just opened another litre bottle to replace it so will hold off until I'm running low!

    Another £1 in the box.

  • A UU for me this morning of Boots Royal Jelly with extracts of pure honey Body Lotion 30 ml. I decided to target this mini in order to get a quick UU as I had some big tubs of body butters for Xmas including a late Xmas present of BS Shea Butter (?) BB. I am going to move on to a Dove 50 ml one next.

Today I am going to wear a top that I bought in a BHS online sale some months ago which I haven't worn yet (should brighten up the working day).

Well he's agreed but wait until we get an appointment and then we'll see how serious he was about doing it.

I'm sorry you're having even more trouble with your hubby, that wasn't nice of him to say you should stay in the spare room. What if you wrote down how you feel to give to him, would he do the same back? I sometimes feel that I can't actually say how I feel but if I had to I could probably write it down. It might give you both something to work on. When I tried to get to the bottom of things with my hubby I asked him to tell me what was wrong and when he didn't give me an answer I asked him how was I expected to put things right if I don't know what's wrong. I still haven't found out the full extent of things so hopefully will do when we start the counselling.

tried the writing down idea ages ago,he just laughed and binned it:eek:last night was strange,we went to dance class and I was looking forward to a bit of tv on my own after but he hung about, asked if he had put the blankets on and he said I've done mine(I do both) was he hinting?anyway when we finallay went to bed he had put both sides of our bed on but not the spare room one .....and as it was a cold night:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I know I am weak but I am the type to flare up then calm down and think what is the point.I don't think things will ever change and it is hard to live annoyed with each other when we are on our own.We talked about our planned holiday(Tesco to Tenerife deal) and he said well if you had been talking at weekend i could have told you the place you choses had very bad reviews:(:(:(it is so hard to tell as some people give a place 1/10 and others 10/10!!!I looked at B&B as no way would I go to HB again as last time was worse than school dinners but only the 5* places did that and they were soooo dear:( esp as it is supposed to be a cheap winter sun holiday so now have to start loooking again!

back to tolietries used a Lush product(forgot name but it was in a plastic bubble and had an angel on it) in the shower a sort of scrub thing, made of bicarb I think as disolved so quickly WNBA(it was from 1 of my boxes)
