This thread is now having the wrong effect on me....my stash is full of basic bits and bobs - hardly anything lovely, desirable or expensive. Reading about all the great things people have to say about Lush is making me want to go in there and "Soap & Glory"? - never tried it but you're all raving about it....seriously thinking now about adding some bits of loveliness to my stash instead of just using up all the low end basics that are in there....
Now ladies, should I be good and stick to my challenge, or are these products just too good to miss?£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -
I had my first UU of January - a 50ml Pot of Sanctuary Bidadari Shimmering Body Souffle. WIBA ? not just yet, if you've looked at my stash list you'll know why! To start off I was a little bit put off by the fact that it was the shimmering type, I've used one before (can't remember the brand -sorry!) which had a slight tint and made my hands orange! Anyhoo I really liked the scent of this one, and if I wasn't a toiletries addict with a stash cascading out of my cupboard
I'd probably buy this again.

I'm like you, most of my stuff was pretty basic, I had absolutely shed loads of cheap stuff when I started back in the summer, but now I certainly have a better class of stash :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, not sure its got much smaller but its certainly much nicer. I have promised myself that I'll only buy really lovely things from now on, from glitches or special promotions, although I really shouldn'tI've never been into Lush, we haven't got one here (luckily?) but I think its a bit expensive, however, I won't knock it till I've tried it. There's a shop in Norwich I think so next time we have a girly shopping day up there I'll try it out. Unless I'm being particularly good, which is unlikely

I feel exactly the same way Bat and Sofababe. I'm going to do what you suggested Sofababe . I'll use up all my basics and have fun later in the year - or even next Christmas -picking people's brains as to really good products to use - showergels excepted, as OS gels are already my HG. (Hey, I'm getting the knack of the specialist shorthand here.)
And(rea)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Oops. Just remembered I need to report 5 INs!
I succumbed to 342 on witchhazel spot and bought 2 deodorants.
So not luxury items (phew) but toiletry purchases all the same.:rotfl:
Off to change siggy...:(0
