I have recently discovered my favourite night hand cream. In the winter I always get very dry skin and the skin between my fingers get so dry that they crack. I got Dr Hauschka for Christmas and use their Rose Body oil as a hand cream last thing before going to bed and now the sore cracks are gone! I didn't like it as a body oil but it is a fantastic hand cream. I think it costs around £3.95 for 10 ml.
Hope your hands get better soon.No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

I Used Up today a sample sachet from a Nivea day cream. Nothing special in my opinion. Has put 50 pence in my pot. I read on here that someone was going to put 50 pence in their pot for every sample they use up and I have decided to do the same. Thanks to whoever mentioned it on here.No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Hi all
No use ups to report today
No Ins either
But another no spend day (as well as yesterday) as I am now back to work having had 6 weeks off with a back injury. Have only been back 3 days but am really tired so I think I still have a way to go to be fully fit.
Having seen some of the other lists I now realise that my 20 shower gels can and have been beaten :rotfl:
Hope you are all having a good day

UU Boots No 7 hot cloth cleanser WIBA - YES! and already have, love this stuff. I have used LE which was fab then Mr T's did a version which they discontinued so was glad that No7 brought one out. I would like to try the S & G one but its a smaller tube than the No 7 and about the same price (the MSE in me being sensible!).
Also UU a sachet of cellulite busting scrubby thing from Jurlique, I have had it for yonks and thought I should use it up - it was ok but I dont think it did much to the dimples!
UU tube of aquafresh toothpaste another in the stash.0 -
Just found more toiletries that haven't been added to the original list! A small sample tube of Simple moisturiser, a face mask sachet (which I'm going to use up now) and some spot gel that obviously isn't up to much or it wouldn't be stuck at the bottom of a basket (I get lots of spots so anything effective would be in a prominent place somewhere!). The latter doesn't look like it's got much in so may be able to use it within a week or so.
Can anyone recommend a better replacement? (It's a Boots Skin Clear Quick -Clearing Gel). Off the top of my head, I've tried the Neutrogena 4-hour spot gel and Boots tea tree & witch hazel spot wand with no success. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Ooh, that might be lovely! I've used a bit though (maybe tried it 3 times just to be sure I didn't like it - is that still ok?) and I don't get cold sores or anything
. I'm more of a smellies girl than make up really, so if you wanted to pick a little something from your stash that's a similar size or something (it's just the little pot one I've got, just to be clear, so you don't send something much heavier  - need to be MSE and fair re the postage
) then yes, that would be great :T. How is this done then, do we just PM each other for addresses? Thank you!!
That's grand. PM me your address and I'll dig something nice out.Yay for MSE! :T
Thanks to all for the No7 hot cloth cleanser recommendations, I am currently using Molton Brown rosewax cleanser with a muslin cloth but am tempted to try this too as I got a voucher the other day.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
