Wow 24 pages already and we are only 6 days into this challenge. A warm welcome to all newbies, its great to have you on board.

Tara, I hope you get your whole order. What a bargain!

This month I have done this challenge for a year. Your support has been very appreciated. Later on in the month I will report on how much money I have managed save in my pot during this challenge.

I have one UU to report. EL Lash Wear plus, this is not a WIBA for me. I couldn't see a difference when using this together with a mascara.

Originally I had planned to buy an eye cream this month but then I found an unopened and unwanted No7 for Men eye cream that my OH had in the bathroom so I have now decided to use that one up so I am planning on buying nothing this month.

    Good luck to you all.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
  • Me too! Tell you what, if I can resist using mine, then YOU can resist using YOURS too! :rotfl:

I'm resisting...they are in my purse alongside the 2 x 250 points No7 vouchers and the 200 point s&g voucher from xmas gift sets...in case of an emergency ;)
No UU today, but went shopping in Swansea today, and returned some S&G that I won't use (scrub your nose, I think) and swopped it for for some Sure deodarent.

ummm that's got me thinking, did you have receipt or proof of purchase? if not I'm wondering if I can exchange some items from my tote bag for one's I'd prefer more? or is that just plain naughty?

I've got a £5 No 7 voucher, I've never even looked for anything to use them with before :o. Now I have! Can you use them with the 3 for 2 offer?

    Hello :)

You sound like you're doing very well if you've got rid of 2 boxes already - how long ago did you move?

Someone else asked about using baby powder. Putting it in 'fragrant' shoes was suggested and also putting some between squeaky floorboards:)

I gave a lot of it to charity and as gifts etc. could never use up so much:) Just over a year now but I haven't used up much myself :o

not sure we have squeaky floorboards:rotfl:but thanks anyway:) may just pass it onto friends with children.

you can but it can sometimes work out better value buying the 3 items using 3 vouchers IYKWIM...not that I'm suggesting you buy anything of course ;)

random question but can anyone remember those apricot face scrub pads, the were square quite small (about 1.5 inch sqaure) and you added water to foam them up and used them to scrub your face? Rough on one side and smooth on the other...haven't seen them for years and wondering whether they still make them...anyone know?

I only have one voucher though! Do I get another when I buy something?:rotfl:

ETA I'm allowing myself to buy things I need lol. I've almost run out of face wipes so I could get some No 7 for 2 quid with my voucher. If I then get another voucher I might get some face wash (although my lump of Coalface will last at least a month I think). Might reassess nearer the end of the month so see how much it's gone down cos the vouchers last til the end of Jan. Is it wrong that I've got much more giddy even at the thought of buying new stuff than before I joined this challenge??
