  • Well no use ups yet but am loving my Sanctuary Mela body butter, i could eat it :D it smells so great and my skin is loving it.
    .

I cracked open one of these over Xmas as a special treat and love it too! I've put it on one side over the last week or so though so that I can UU a 50 ml Champneys Vitamiracle Rejuvenating Body Butter which is also lovely. I've also UU the L'Oreal Derma Genese Serum and Day Cream sachets which I found in a 2008 magazine!

I have to report an "in" as I've bought a Simple Roll On Deodrant to replace my current one which I think will run out tomorrow. Deodrant is one thing that I don't hoard!

Lol Helen, you really don't want to try talc on your hair if you do own dry shampoo - the key part of the phrase was 'if you are desperate'. It used to make my scalp feel so gritty... I have some Tesco Value talc so I might try it myself sometime to see if things have improved (though I doubt it.)
Talc is also very good if you have really tight fitting hold you in underwear on, helps it go up and down a lot more easily, or so I'm told (cough).

ahhh I thought I had found a cheap alternative. If I tell you the truth, I never use dry hair shampoo, I would rather wash and run and let my hair dry over my 2 hour commute and let it go curly... obviously in the winter this is risking a cold but hey ho.

no UU's for me as I have a migraine (screen is on superduper low backlight) and I've been in bed all day in the dark :( unless you cound the migraleave stuff? that ran out but WIBA? no. it's rubbish.

one in... perfume I won in december on ebay... don't like it so it shall soon be an 'out'.

  • Evening all,

I hope you are having a good day.

Today wasnt a no spend day as I had to buy a little bit of food today. I have another use up to report.

Its not very interesting, only VO5 shampoo. It now means I can start using my Soap and Glory Shampoo for the first time :D

I do have a little confession to make. There was a glitch reported on Grabbit this morning so I placed an order. It was for an exfoliating soap, just the one. I haven't heard anything since so I do not know if they are going to honour the orders, I shall count it as an in if it turns up.

    Have a good evening.

    hello can I join please?

I have been meaning to do this challenge since I moved and discovered I had 3 huge boxes of toiletries:o but I have got it down to one box of unused things now. One thing I am finding very difficult is using up baby powder. Not sure why I have a huge bottle of it :p

    recent UU's
ted baker body souffle- WIBA? nope. it's feels nice and doesn't make me sticky but smells horrible :(
body shop carrot cream- WIBA? no. really thick and ended up using it as a hand cream.

It's confession time for me, on Saturday I bought:
Clarins Muti Active gift set - contents Multi Active day cream 50ml, Multi Active night cream 15ml, Multi Active serum 10ml
    Clarins gentle foaming cleanser 125ml
Bliss bubbles and butter set - contents lemon and sage body butter 200ml, lemon sage soapy suds (bubble bath/shower gel) 473ml

    Got the following Clarins GWPs
Multi Active day cream 30ml x2
    Gentle refiner 30ml
Multi Active day cream SPF 15 5ml
    Multi Active night cream 5ml
    Headband

Mitigating circumstances (sounds better than my excuse)
Multi active gift set was reduced to £24.66, the day cream alone is normally £37, total spend on Clarins was £40.66 and I got all those items.
I've always wanted to try the Bliss products and they were on sale for £13, I justified this as being the same price as S&G.
I did return a Lancome mascara set that was way surplus to requirements and got a full refund £20.

Finally I went to The Body Shop and they allowed me to exchange a tea tree oil (don't know why I bought this) and a cocoa butter shower gel (fortunately I smelt this before using, smelt disgusting to me) for a pawpaw shower gel, pink grapefruit shower gel and a pink grapefruit soap. This exchange was cost neutral.

I will NOT buy anything else!

    Hello :)

You sound like you're doing very well if you've got rid of 2 boxes already - how long ago did you move?

Someone else asked about using baby powder. Putting it in 'fragrant' shoes was suggested and also putting some between squeaky floorboards:)
