Managed to get to the Dr's today and after a lot of crying and explaining and looking over records I have been diagnosed with ME/CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). I now have to decide whether or not to take the meds that will help with this as they cause my other condition to flare *sigh*
Blimey, yeah, that's a lot to weigh up. I'm so glad you got your diagnosis though. (I know some docs are still reluctant to diagnose M.E.) Big hugs sweetie.
Tara You may have spent a few £££ cherub, but look at what you got for it!:beer:
On the Elasticizer front I found that I got a good result on the first go, but that it improved even more on the next one. Having said that I've been doing without it for a little while now and people are still telling me how "lucky" I am to have nice hair. (I guess the results haven't worn off yet!)
Rightio that's it. I'm calling it I think. That's the end of the whole month with no spend whatso-diddly-ever. WooooooHoooooooo!:dance::dance::dance:
Thanks for the support lovelies!

Well done Jacks !!
Sarah - have you thought looking into homeopathic stuff?? not sure what would be the treatments - but it might be worth thinking about??
I had some INs today - went to buy my shampoo, and bought the 2 for £8 Joe Browns (cant remember what its called off the top of my head - but im sure its somethign like that!!) colour shampoo and conditioner - got the points for them (sent mum up to pay for them and get the points cos I had a cunning plan...) then went to the till myself to buy the rest of the things - I'd also picked up their own Brunette/redhead shampoo and conditioner (the 91p stuff) and a deep conditioner for brunettes/redheads, (well its still only one in use and one in the stash!!) and i dont have any deep treatments at all. somehow though I also seemed to aquire some gifty things (well - sweets!!) from the 75% sale, but they took it over the amount of points I had to pay - so i now have £7 worth of points !!! (but it can go towards whatever I need next!)
well done everyone - roll on next month, has anyone started a new thread yet???Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Trudi, was it you who wanted to join the bzz campaign for the light? My sister signed up to it today and she joined bzzagent last week so you may have an invitation to join it by now?
I thought it may be the case that the ones who'd been there for longer would get to trial the products sooner and it seems it is. She's well happy so I hope she likes it. I'm going to have a blast on mine tonight when I'm in the bath.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Congratulations on the no spend month Jacks:T and Dragon:T (I think).
Trudi thanks for the heads up and listing of next month's clinique freebies and to whoever posted the Clarins GWP link....sorry can't remember who it was, have to read back and bookmark the link as well. At least if we do stray and spend you're making sure we get the best deal. I will be resisting Clarins though having bought in the Debenhams GWP this month, also have lots of samples.:A
Sarah best wishes, I hope you find a treatment plan that has you feeeling better soon.0 -
aww marie2,thats really nice of you to say - but I assure you its only so that I dont feel lonely on the naughty step on my own....
I couldnt afford these things in a million years - and this is likely to be the best way for me to get to try them to see how good they are for me.
not me with the light - I think Im signed up to Buzz, but I cant remember evry doing any trials for them - Im going to have to get going again properly and really follow up all the emails i get - Im listed with lots of freebee sites but delete them as soon as i get them !!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

That is nothing. I am well into 3 figures for my January spending - I am really ashamed....hope this makes you feel better....never mind the naughty step, I think I'm on the escalator!
In my defence, last year I thought I was going to lose my job so lived very frugally and bought nothing nice for myself. I then got NIL toiletries for Christmas. Now still have my job and so went a bit OTT in the sales. Got loads of nice bargain stuff for presents, in case my job does get the chop and I can't afford to buy anything later in the year, and nice smellies for my sister who is in a very low paid smelly (farm) job.
love the idea of the naughty escalator made me giggle out loud! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Always be yourself, unless you can be a Unicorn - then always be a Unicorn !
