  • Thank you, and yes they do, I've found it now :oHere it is, for anyone interested.

Doolally (:p) I saw the Clinique offer in my mum's Debenhams leaflet she gets with her store card (she is so not a MS!! :D). Didn't know they put the details on their websites until now, but since I don't need to buy anything for ages I will not look!

I figure that now Xmas is well and truly over all the brands will be doing their GWP now so we should all be able to get our favourites soon!

  • Hey all!!

Well, i have my first UU to declare!! Nivea soft shower gel. WIBA? yes, i like the smell and smoothness of my skin after use!
I also have a splutterer which is lingering unnecessarily - alberto balsam raspberry conditioner - WIBA? no. leaves my hair looking all dull.

Was tempted but ran quickly from the palmolive on offer in s-drug for 75p.
Had an IN as well - Avon sleeptherapy body wash.

well done everybody on your successes!!

  • Sorry I haven't been posting, but I haven't been spending either. ;)

I can't honestly say I've enjoyed the month. No alcohol, no chocolate, cold all the time and I can't even cheer myself up with some new makeup? No fun. :(

I can't possibly do another month of no spending anyway.
I need a new mascara. I'll phaff for a night out, but I can't be bothered with huge gloopy brushes and a lengthy application process at the crack of dawn for work. I want a good mascara that is quick and easy too.

There's a Bobbi Brown mascara I'm "watching" on eBay which has had 5 bids and is still under £1 including the P&P.

That's got to be some of us moneysavers doing that bidding hasn't it? :rotfl:

    Thanks for having me. :T

Got my Glamour in the post yesterday and was v pleased when I saw the clinique freebies! I subscribe so won't get to pick mine which is not so good, hope I get a moisturiser instead of a lip gloss cos I have millions of lip stuff! :)

    2 UU to report!!
Finished a pack of disposable razors, I have no idea how old they were since I've been using the blue gilette ones since they first came out several years ago so good riddance I say!
Also UU BS honey conditioner - WNBA I didn't think it did much for my hair, sadly still have 1/2 bottle of the shampoo to plough through. Lasted for ages as well, it was so thick I kept having to put water into the bottle so I could get anything out

Going to Sains for the weekly shop now, may also buy a cheeky bottle of the l'oreal EMU since its such a bargain :p (and I will use it very quickly)

Here's to a no spend February!

  • I forgot, one teeny tiny IN to report!
Brought a bottle of body lotion home from the hotel I was in at the weekend. I don't need it but the cleaners would just bin it so I'm as well getting a couple of uses from it. Didn't save the shampoo or shower gel though, they were rubbish!

  • Hi everyone. Haven't we done well?! Have had a few uu's. Too many to remember (samples and travel pots) but nothing worth raving about. S&G hand food is still spluttering on and Philosophy foot cream is refusing to end. Finished a body lotion so have opened a BS body butter but it smells a bit funny. May try it once to see how it goes. See you all next month!

Managed to get to the Dr's today and after a lot of crying and explaining and looking over records I have been diagnosed with ME/CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). I now have to decide whether or not to take the meds that will help with this as they cause my other condition to flare *sigh*

So I went to BS and got a Cranberry Body Butter and a Spiced Vanilla Body Butter (still on BOGOF) to cheer me up :o The SA threw in a couple of samples too but I haven't looked at them - one was wild cherry and the other coconut but not sure what of - IYKWIM

I am determined however that I will not spend a penny in Feb on anything I do not genuinely need :D:D

I popped in to see a friend of mine while I was in town and his collegue said to me "you look good - have you lost weight? or done something to your hair?". Now, bearing in mind I haven't slept for a week, haven't had a haircut in almost 12 months and have eaten nothing but rubbish recently I was fairly pleased :p:rotfl: What I have been doing though is rigidly sticking to my cleanse, tone, moisturise routine - so I guess it's working :T:T

I have to say that I still haven't been even remotely tempted by the list of Glamour Freebies - so I feel :A

Oh no, I hope that you'll feel better, whatever's your decision. I wish you all the best!
