Those of you who remember or bought a big deluxe Gok set, how much were they in the sale? I hoped I would get one for christmas but never, then missed out in the sale :o I am now watching/bidding on some on ebay but don't want to spend more than they were in the sale.

    Many thanks :D

Hiya Pap. They were £22.50 in the 50% sale and £11.25 in the 75% sale if memory serves. :)

Crikey I can't keep up with this thread anymore, 6 pages since last night! Anyway, I will continue to report my ins and outs. One UU today, M&S coconut milk handwash WIBA? Yes, I often buy this as I like the smell. I've replaced it with an OS white pear and avocado and I LOVE the smell of this one, so yes I would buy again but depends if OS is on offer...
  • 2 mores UU to be squeezed in this month:
Avalon organics Vit C toner: WIBA, yes, yes!, but need to use Elemis apricot toner.
TBS hemp foot cream, WIBA, yes, but have loads of Scholl footcream to be used now
    No toiletries spend in 2011.
    So far spends....£0!

    HELP!

Hello ladies - if anyone in the world would know - it would be you guys....last few weeks my hands have become so dry! On the backs of my hands the skin sometimes gets inflamed they are that dry. I apply hand cream all the time and slap extra on at night, but nothing is helping and they are so bad! Any ideas on what I can do to help them, or what products I could buy to help them? Please??

Sal, I would use aqueous cream or E45, but if you have a nurse's drop in at your surgery or a pharmacy handy, I would ask there. I'm sure a pharmacist would be able to advise you.
If you use Boots, I wish you strength in avoiding S&G, Gok, FCUK, etc etc as you make your way to the pharmacy counter!

  • I have few UUs to report

1 Lush melting marshmallows moments Bath Melt - WIBA? Yes I think, it was good but next time will use it with a bubble bath as otherwise I get bored in the bath as don't have the bubbles to play with

Half portion of Lush purple bath bomb with stars - Not sure what the name was as I have had it since last Christmas so not sure if it would be any better if fresh. WIBA - No

Half portion of Lush bath bomb with shape like star fish - Same as above. It had been stored with some bath bombs so not sure what the original colour was as now it had patches of lots of colours. WIBA - No

Lush Tea Tree toner Tab - WIBA - It was good but too epensive for one time use.

I also had some left over Lush shower jellies to use. Added them to a container, then added some water and a bit of a left over shower gel and then blended it all really well with an electric blender. Have put all this in two Lush Dream Cream containers and will use them as a Lush Smoothie. Also added the last drops of rose water that I had to it so thats is another UU.

Have started with another bottle of Rose water. This one is the last one in the stash. I use it as a lazy cleanser instead of wipes when I haven't worn any makeup in the day and can't be bothered to go to the bathroom to cleanse at night.

Could you use the Maybelline brush in the Bad Girl Mascara? Would that even work? :D

Another bad night :( Gonna make them give me a Dr's appt for tomorrow as can't go on like this with another sleepless night

Especially if I do stupid things at stupid o'clock in the morning like take advantage of the ASOS sale and buy a S&G Mini Series Box Set :o:o:mad::rotfl: Which I don't need

    ho hum

Awesome Stash there EH :p Sun, Moon and Stars - I'd forgotten that exisited - it used to be my all time favourite :D

Sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly Sarah - Docs sounds like a good plan though, lack of sleep is dreadful, not much drags you down faster I think.

Sun, Moon, Stars has been my favourite fragrance since it was first released back in the early/mid 90's - I remember I got a sample first of all and loved it - couldn't afford a full bottle until I went for a day trip to France and bought it on the boat - then we had the most awful crossing coming back, in fact the boat nearly didn't leave! I still love it now - the current bottle is about half full but I'm hopeful that OH might buy me a replacement in due course. ;)

They were £45 to start with, and then I think I paid £11/12 in the 75% sale...

for me, the ones on ebay at the moment are being a bit hopeful - though things are worth what people are prepared to pay, hopefully there will still be people wanting to buy them when/if I decide to put mine on - I have had another sniff and cant decide if I think I like it or not...

BTW - Glamour Mag next month have freebees again - Clinique things this time....

Ooh - do we have any idea as to what?

A UU to report from my shower this morning - Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub - WIBA? well I would certainly ask for it as a gift again! Feels really effective in use, I love the smell, and it leaves just the right amount of oil on the skin. Will finish the FCUK one I also have in use next.

Forgot to say, thanks to all those who made nice comments about my stash list. When I was doing the listing last night MrEH asked if I was listing things to put on eBay or something, and my immediate response was to say that no, I've now got to the point where all the stuff I have, I am looking forward to using. It's so nice to feel that way about it!

I'm not sure tbh! I know that lots of people here rave about BS hemp hand stuff, or you could try coconut oil or body butter. Failing that, ask a chemist and they should be able to sort you out. Good luck :)

Well ladies, I have had a great afternoon. Went out as it was so nice and sunny, ambled into town to meet a friend for afternoon tea, then avoided Boots successfully but managed to spend £37 on clothes in the Zara sale!!!! But this bought me 2 skirts, a top and a jacket. They were way reduced so I am very chuffed!

I haven't been buying many clothes lately as I just feel so fat, but the skirts will still fit when (when!) I lose weight as they will just sit lower on my hips. The jacket is a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches (sounds very geography teacher but it looks FAB). All are on the 'snug' side so that gives me something to work towards! If they don't fit in exactly 29 days they're going back!!! :T A new challenge :D

I have been religiously using Wish Upon a Jar day and night. My skin definitely feels more even but I will judge the effectiveness after the recommended 21 days are up!

Didnt get one but thought they were at £11 in the 75 % off sale...? Didn't think the box would be useful storage afterwards.
